"How was your day? Anything happen at school?"

The dancer smiled as a pink-haired girl slid into the passenger seat of her car, "good~ Nothing happened at school today, but my day's going to get better."

"Oh? Why's that?"

Chaeyeon smiled as she started her car, "'cause I'm going to be hanging out with you?"

The gamer flustered up, looking out the window, "oh really? I suppose I can say the same thing."

The Korean girl chuckled, driving the route she knew like the back of her hand as soft music played in the background.

"I could've picked you up from school, you know."

"Well, I like driving, and I wanted to drive you."

"Why?"

"Well, what are we doing today?"

"Uhhhhh, hanging out?"

Chaeyeon laughed, "we're celebrating your birthday silly~"

"But... My birthday isn't today?"

"I know, but we're both busy on that day so... Let's celebrate today instead!"

Sakura stared at the younger girl who kept her eyes on the road, "how do you even know my birthday? I don't think I told you."

Chaeyeon pouted as she stopped at a red light, taking that chance to glance over to the Japanese girl, "and why didn't you? Yena told me a few days ago."

"Ah... Well, I... uh... didn't think you'd want to know?"

"Whattt, I want to know everything about you."

From the corner of her eye, Chaeyeon saw Sakura's cheeks flare up, causing the college student to let out another laugh.

"You're fine with that right?"

"H-huh- what?"

Chaeyeon stifled a giggle, "celebrating your birthday early?"

"O-oh yeah of course!"

"Nice~"

"As long as it's with you..."

Sakura mumbled those words under her breath, thinking that the driver couldn't hear.

But her words were heard clearly by the younger girl.

Chaeyeon smiled, her heart fluttering as they arrived at the cafe they decided to get lunch at.

"Welcome!"

The duo smiled and nodded at the cashier, walking around the small aisles of baked goods to pick out their lunch.

"Do you want cake now or later?"

"Hmm, maybe later?"

Chaeyeon nodded, taking out her wallet as they set the bread on the counter.

"Hello! Would that be all?"

The Korean girl glanced over to Sakura before speaking to the cashier, "can we have two iced teas?"

"Of course! Your order will be done soon."

"Thank you~"

The two found a table to sit at, not realizing that there was a certain group of people watching them from the other side of the cafe...

"Hey that's Chaeyeon-unnie!"

Yena turned around to see that Yuri was correct, it was her high school friend hanging out with her other friend.
