Chapter 22

In the evening, we just ate dinner and rested. Before resting, I ate my midnight snack first and read my favorite book from him.

"tulog na" he yawned

I quickly laid the book down on the table and lay down close to him. He turned to me and opened his arms.

"cuddle me first" his voice sounded very drowsy.

Lumapit pa ako sa kanya at inalalayan ang ulo niya sa paghiga sa braso ko. From the arm he rose further towards my chest and hugged me tighter. Habang dahan-dahang pumipikit at marahan kong hinahaplos ang buhok niya.

I set the alarm at 5 am for us to wake up early because we have a presentation tomorrow.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I got up and went straight outside. I didn't woke Donny up because I don't want to disturb his deep sleep. I cooked breakfast for the two of us and I prepared him coffee. Habang inaayos ang plato sa lamesa ay nakita ko na siyang lumabas mula sa kwarto.

"good morning" I greeted him. Nakapikit siyang ngumiti sa akin. He scratched his eyes as he walked closer to me.

"Ready for your presentation later?" he asked me before sitting down

"nervous..,pero kaya" I smiled

Before sitting down he hugged me and kissed the top of my head. Pag-upo ay kumuha siya ng kaunting kanin at uminom ng kape.

"still nervous?" Tanong niya sa akin bago uminom uli ng kape.

"yeah.." I sighed. I breathed into my mouth to reduce nervousness.

"tsk, don't worry, love, you can do it..,we can do it" He took my hand and gently rubbed it.

"I hope so" I gave him a little smile

After eating breakfast, we took a shower and left to start the presentation.

I was alone in my office and thinking about the presentation earlier. I was pleased with their comments on what we did. They also quickly approved the thing that our team developed, so the four of us had fun.

Iinom na dapat ako ng kape nang may biglang kumatok sa pintuan.

"Felix?" bungad ko

"I just want to say congratulations" he gave me a big smile.

"congrats to you too" ngumiti din ako sa kanya.

"so, will you come later?" Nanliit ang mata ko dahil sa pagtataka.

"later?"

"yup, celebration, kasama rin si Leah and Ave"

"saan?" tanong ko

"bar" maiksing sagot niya

"let me ask my boyfriend first" ngumiti ako sa kanya

"yeah sure,.. no pressure" he laughed a little

He waved at me before leaving my office. Sa saktong pag labas niya ang dumating si Donny.
Halos papapikit na ang mga mata niya dahil sa pag susungit. Nang tumingin naman ito sa akin ay bumalik na sa ayos ang mata niya at ngumiti sa akin.

"congrats, my love" yumakap siya sa akin

"thank you.." saad ko bago siya yakapin pabalik.

"so bakit siya nandito?" he changed the topic.

"he congratulated me" ngumiti ako sa kanya
