Equal give and take

Chapter 17

It takes time to learn lessons. That is the beauty of life. That no matter how old we are there are always more things to learn, new people to meet, situations to handle and small things to celebrate. Every day. With gratitude you can achieve a lot. It you want to give to a person, situation or a challenge it is important to sometimes pause and ask yourself: Is this giving for your? Do you receive energy and love in return? If the answer is yes, then just keep on walking. Keep on doing what you do. 

One true lesson in life is to really examine your relationships and your environment and feel them in your heart. If you surround yourself with people that always wants to take you for granted and just stays around you when it suits you, you might reconsider if you are in the right environment. If you are in a relationship and you are the one that always makes the effort and always are the shoulder to lean on, then it is time to put an end to that relationship. 

A relationship that isn't build on equal give and take isn't a true and honest relationship. When you feel appreciated and knows that you are valuable then it is right. When you feel you can be you and that honesty, genuine communication and love are qualities that are daily characteristics then my friend, you are in the right relationship. In a true, safe relationship, there are no need to not feel safe, not feel loved, not feel appreciated, not feel valuable, not feel chosen or neglected. 

 It is tough to end relationships that you have been in for a long time. It is tough to walk away from someone that have been all your world, that have somehow also met your soul in a higher level and changed your world. Someone that now isn't someone you can recognize at all.  I truly believed that my DM and I had this special bond between us. Once I thought we were inseparable. That his love for me would win over his ego, materialistic, superficial behavior and tell him that he had met his true love that he would never leave and always chase. Today I know that even though we might have had that special bond, I know we had it and I am grateful for it but, today I am not looking back anymore.I am heading forward, to my happiness. To someone that knows what equal give and take is. 

An Empress doesn't chase. Nor does she wants to take back someone that doesn't knows difference of what is worth fighting for or always, always choose. An Empress believe in herself and knows that true love exist and will come. In Divine timing.
