Disclaimer: I do not own the Twilight franchise. I simply have a lot of thoughts about it. This fic idea came to be in the year of the plague 2020 after a re-watch of the Twilight franchise. I had a dream (just as Mrs. Meyers did) about Jungkook being the rebound for Bella Swan, and my friend group ended up spreading out this dumb dream into a whole-ass multiverse of madness.
I will also like to add that I have a lot of respect for the Bangtan Boys. If any of them find this: I'm sorry, lads.
Tldr; this is a joke I made during the 2020 lockdown, and that means trouble.

Get therapy, or I'm sending you back to Jacksonville.
Charlie's warning echoed in my head throughout English class. I'm pretty sure they'd stick me in the mental ward if I ever opened up about what I knew. Vampires aren't real, I can already imagine the shrink shaking their head. You must be insane!
I had two choices: I could lie to Charlie and go to Port Angeles without Jessica. I doubt Charlie would go as far as to look at how far my truck had driven, but it was better safe than sorry. Or I could actually ask her out tonight, but I didn't see how that was going to work. I hadn't talked to Jessica or anyone from my friend group in a hot minute—that is, in a couple of months.
I didn't care. I was graduating in a few months either way. High school friendships were superficial, right? Why would I need them?
When the school bell rang, I shoved my pencils into my bag and walked toward Jessica's table. A small, heavy feeling grew in my stomach. I wanted her to say no, just so that I could tell Charlie that I had tried, or that Jessica wasn't up for it.
Jessica furrowed her eyebrows.
"Bella," her voice was laced with honey. "Do you need any help with Math?"
"No," I shuffled my feet. "I was just wondering...it's Friday, isn't it?"
"Yes. Didn't Mike try to ask you out today?"
He did. He asked every Friday.
"He does it so much I lost track," I tried to laugh it off, but it ended up sounding a lot more choked than intended. "Listen, I've been wanting to go to the cinema again but I don't really want to be alone. Do you want to go to the movies with me tonight?"
"Oh!" She looked surprised. I could have sworn her eyebrows were going to disappear into her hairline from her expression change. "I'd love to. I guess, uhm, I mean it beats saying yes to Eric Yorkie tonight –"
"No way, he asked you out?" I feigned interest. "Who said what first?"
Jessica sighed dramatically. "Eric, of course. But more to that later – I'm done at 3. I'll come by your place, m'kay?"
"Great!"
I sounded enthusiastic, but why did she have to say yes?
"Do you at least want to join us for lunch?" Jessica said, hopefully. "We sort of miss you over at the table."
"Biology," I said dryly. "We've got a quiz later. I don't want to mess up."
"Alright..." Jessica grimaced, but there was a slight tug at the corner of her lips. It was nice knowing I could still sit at their table, at least.
I sat outside for lunch, and my biology book was left unattended, but it was open for the sake of looking like I was learning. Perhaps I should give today a try, I reasoned with myself. It can't be that bad to hang out with Jessica. I did it once before, back when I didn't date him. I could hang out with her.
