"I just don't know what to do." He says softly.
"I know, but they're your family and they'll understand. So this is what we're going to do. I'm gonna call your dad and tell them you're with me but you need some time to think. You can stay for the night and then in the morning we can go see your family and you guys can talk. What do you think?" I asked him.
"Yeah, that sounds good. Will you stay with me when we talk to them tomorrow though? You know about our secret and you're our brother. I want you there." He pleads while he gives me puppy dog eyes.
"Sure, you know I can't resist yours and Jordan's puppy eyes." I replied while ruffling his hair. I get my phone to start calling Mr.Kent.
"Hey. Mr. Kent it's liam..."

Liam's POV
"Hey, Mr. Kent it's Liam..." I started.
"Liam! Jonathan left and I've looked everywhere for him but I can't hear him or feel him. I need your help." He practically yelled, and I can hear him pacing around the house.
"Mr. Kent, he's here with me. The reason you can't feel him is because he can create a shield." Jonathan is in front of me picking at his fingers listening in.
"What! Is he okay? When did he get there?" Mr. Kent throws me questions a million miles an hour.
"He just got here like 20 minutes ago, and he's fine. A little shaken up but nonetheless okay." I reply in the best comforting voice I can.
"Ok. Alright I'll be there in a few minutes to pick him up." Jonathan immediately snaps his head at me and starts to motion for me to say something.
"Uh can he stay the night sir? Jonathan wants a little bit of space, but I swear I'll drive him home first thing in the morning." I ask. Jonathan looks at me nervously knowing he's probably gonna say no.
"I guess.. I guess that's alright. Can you just tell him- tell him we love him. And that this doesn't change anything." He says softly. Jonathan just smiles slightly.
"He knows that already sir, but I'll be sure to remind him."
"Okay, can you just make sure he eats something? He's had like two bites of food all day. Oh also can you remind him to clean his wounds? Jonathan always forgets and he's kind of neglectful to those types of things."
"I'll take care of him. I promise. My mom is a nurse you know, I learned from the best and I know if something happens you'll only be a few seconds away." I reassure him before saying goodbye.
"Oh my God! I didn't think he would go for it." Jonathan says happily.
"I know, but your dad is going to skin me if you don't change your bandages so why don't you go do that upstairs while I finish dinner." He just laughs at me in return but he goes upstairs.
I add the last of the ingredients into the pan and I start to put everything away when I hear a soft knock. I dry my hands and go to the door. It doesn't seem like Jon heard though. I open the door to see Mr. Kent there.
"Mr. Kent what-what are you doing here?" I whisper to him.
"I didn't come to take Jon or anything but I just wanted to drop off his nutrition drink, I don't think he's going to eat much so I just want to make sure he's okay. And for the last time, call me Clark!" He whispers back.
"It's okay, I get it. It must be tough with everything going on."
"Yeah it is, but Jonathan has it much harder than all of us combined. I'm really sorry kid. I know I've been ignoring you and this all must be so difficult for you. I know how much a burden powers can be. Especially having to keep it from your mom." He slumps his shoulders and he looks like he's carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders.
