"I had come to invite you to our wedding, Mr. Hooda." Zoya said in a broken voice, "I do not have parents. I don't even remember hearing their voices, and being caressed in their arms. So, I thought at least you could be present there, however, might be your rapport with Aditya. At least, there would be someone in the place of a parent."Harsh just listened on, looking at her, while Zoya added with an emotional smile, "But now I understand that, Aditya too doesn't have anyone. Just that, my parents aren't alive, and Aditya's father is alive, yet dead."
Harsh gulped down as he heard that, while he looked back at Aditya, who was standing behind Arjun. Harsh clutched his fist, as he looked down, with closed eyes.
"But we won't bother you anymore, Sir. I am here to take care of Aditya hereafter. You can continue to live unbothered about us. Sorry to disturb you, Sir!" Zoya said, and as she turned to leave, she cast a glare at Anjana.
She walked closer to her and said with gritted teeth, "And one more time, I see you anywhere near me or Aditya, or speaking even a letter against him, you will turn out to be the first person I have ever misbehaved with, in this world. Beware...Mrs. Anjana Hooda!"
With glaring eyes, Zoya walked away from them, towards the door, held Aditya's hand, and said, "Let's go, Arjun!"
She walked out with Aditya, and Aditya followed her, as he looked at her with a painful smile. As Arjun was about to leave behind them, Anjana rushed behind him and held his hand.
"Arjun, won't you at least speak a word to me, beta?" Anjana asked with a worried look, and teary eyes, "Why don't you at least understand? I am...I am hearing all these abuses from such strangers, just for you...just because I wanted to have you in my life. I chose to give birth to you, even when I knew that I would hear all sorts of names. I bore all these for you, and where will I go if you itself hate me, Arjun?"
Arjun turned back, looked at her, and said with a stern look, "I wish you hadn't chosen to give birth to me, despite all these troubles. I wish!"
Anjana left Arjun's hand hearing his words and looked at him with a shocked look. Arjun added with a smile. "Thanks to your divine sacrifices, I have never once felt or will ever feel proud of my existence in this world. And the only one thing that comforts me in this life is the one you just now called an issue...my brother Aditya. That's the only one thing..." Arjun looked back at Harsh, "...I am grateful to you for!"
Arjun left the place, while Anjana looked down in despair.

"This is why I stopped you, Zoya. You know what; you are too good for this world." Pooja said as she sipped her tea at the dining table at their home, back in Mumbai. Zoya rested her chin on her intertwined fists, as she listened to it with an agitated face.
"Adi hates them for a reason. And about Harsh Uncle, I have not seen such a spineless man in my life. I don't know what has he achieved in life other than playing with the lives of two women and two innocent kids."
"But, how can one be like this, Pooja? Not even an ounce of regret or guilt...at least, the responsibility of a father. Is that too much to ask for?" Zoya asked, shaking her head in annoyance.
"Responsibility?" Pooja chuckled, as she kept her teacup on the table, "Please, Zoya! What responsibility do you expect from the man, who sent his little son to boarding school, away from everyone, just because his new wife found his existence as a reminder of her illicit affair with a married man."
"I don't know Pooja." Zoya said as she walked towards the window, "I just feel bad for Aditya, and at the same time, I am also proud and happy to say that he has me now."
