"I am sorry for hurting you like this, Aditya. I wanted to act true to what I said, and continue with that lie. But...I failed. I hope you forgive me for this...and understand what I feel. I think...it would be best for you and me...to just continue being the way, we were. I don't know what else to say."

Zoya said in tears, while Aditya stood opposite her with a lost look. He really didn't understand what was happening, or what was going to happen in his love life. One can convince a person to accept their feelings, if they are ignorant about it. But how can one convince a person who has accepted their feelings, but still wishes to ignore it? He was clueless. Above all, her tears and pain bothered him even more. This is not how he wanted to know about her feelings.

As Zoya looked up, she saw Pooja and Arjun getting out of the restaurant, and coming towards them.

Zoya quickly wiped her tears and tried to look normal, as they approached towards them, while Aditya was looking down, still in thoughts.

"Shall we...go?" Pooja asked, taking glances at both Aditya and Zoya, trying to figure out if things have been sorted out in the meantime.

Zoya nodded, and as she was about to join Pooja, Aditya, still looking down, said in a stern tone, "You both leave. Zoya and I will come home after some time."

Arjun raised his brows hearing that, while he and Pooja looked at Zoya, who was equally taken aback with Aditya's words.

Aditya looked up at Pooja and Arjun, who were still gazing at him, and he stressed his words again "What? I said, you guys leave. We will come."

"Uhh...but..." Pooja muttered, while Arjun interrupted, "Yeah, we are leaving Bhai. Bye Zoya. Pooja, come!"

He put his arm over Pooja and dragged her from that place, while Pooja asked Arjun in a low tone, "What was that, Arjun? What's going on?"

"I also came with you only, right? How am I supposed to know?" Arjun asked, as they walked forward, "But I am sure about one thing. They both have some serious issue going on between them. But what is it?"

As they both got in a taxi and left the place, Aditya looked at Zoya, "Sorry. Just that, I wasn't done talking to you. That's why I sent them home first."

Zoya nodded her head slowly, while she was feeling the tension building up inside. What does he want to talk? Is he going to get furious at her for treating his feelings that way? Or try to convince her to reconsider him? She had so many questions lingering in her brain.

Just then, Aditya saw a bus coming their way. He looked at Zoya and asked, "Shall we take the bus?"

The bus started moving, and Zoya sat down at a window seat, while Aditya sat next to her.

The silence between them continued, while Zoya looked out of the window. This bus ride has to be the most silent ride they both have ever had till date. She was actually travelling with Aditya, but it felt like she was travelling all alone. The despair in her heart increased with the thought that, maybe things can never get back to normal between her and Aditya. It seemed that they lost that blissful and cheerful bond between them, in Manali itself.

Zoya rested her arm on the window, while she quietly wiped the drop of tear that had accumulated at the edge of her eye.

Zoya felt a nudge on her arm, and she turned to her side and saw Aditya looking at her.

Aditya took a deep breath and leaned forward in his seat, resting his forehead on the seat in front of him, as he asked her in a calm tone, "Why are you crying?"
