The snow pellets caressed the frozen window panes, while Aditya and Zoya stood next to it, with their foreheads rested against each other, and hands holding on to each other. It took some time for them to process what just happened. They almost forgot everything after that moment; where they were, why they were here, and what happened before that moment. Literally everything. The only memory etched in their hearts was the kiss.

They slowly opened their eyes and looked at each other. Their hands retreated from each other, as they both moved a few steps behind. They didn't know how to react after that intimate moment they shared, and both their minds were at its chaotic peak.

Aditya looked down and rubbed his nape, as the seriousness of the moment he just shared with her, started sneaking into his head slowly. He thought with his heart a few moments back, and now it was his turn to think with his brain. He didn't know how was Zoya going to take all this. He didn't want to be seen as some desperate guy who was just looking for an opportunity to get intimate with her. He didn't wait all these days, for Zoya to develop such an opinion about him.

Zoya, on the other hand, was still dazed over that moment. She didn't expect such a moment with Aditya that day, and now she didn't know how to behave with him after that. She felt extremely apprehensive to even look at his face. How is she supposed to act around him after this? What's their relationship going to be like? Are they going to be like how they were few hours back? Or were their equations going to totally change? Her mind shot a lot of questions towards her, and she was too tensed to even think for an answer.

"Zoya."

Zoya's heart skipped a beat hearing Aditya's voice. Hearing her name never gave her such chills before.

She tried responding, while she couldn't even find her voice. With so much effort, she responded in a low tone, "Hmm...". She herself couldn't hear that, and she tried to be a bit more audible, "Hmmm?"

They both stood, facing away from each other, with the width of the window separating them from each other.

Aditya let out a deep breath, while he tried to gather some words, "Zoya...actually...I don't know...I just...suddenly...huh...I mean..."

He was sweating, despite the freezing temperature outside. He exhaled some air, while he continued, "Zoya, firstly, whatever just happened, it was spontaneous. I didn't plan for any of these, when I came here. I didn't have any such intentions too, trust me."

Zoya listened on, while Aditya turned slightly to his side and checked if Zoya was still standing there. He thought for a while and said, "In fact, there are some more things, that I want to share with you...and which I feel that you should know. But, I don't know if I should say all those right now...in this situation. So, if possible, can you meet me tomorrow morning at the café?"

Zoya thought for a while, and then nodded her head, "Hmmm."

Listening to that, Aditya walked out of the room, while Zoya turned and watched him leave. He stopped and turned back at Zoya, while she quickly turned towards the window. Aditya closed the door behind him, and leaned along the door with closed eyes.

"I just hope...things move on as I wish...I hope!" Aditya muttered, as he walked towards his room.

Zoya, on the other hand, stood in front of the window for a few moments, and then walked forward and sat in front of the fireplace, and pushed behind her hair, while reminiscing Aditya's words. Her eyes were fixed on the burning fire in front of her, while she revisited the moment she shared with Aditya just some time back:

"I don't see anyone the way I see you, Zoya!"

"I see you...as an epitome of my future. I see us, when I see you! I see you as my purpose to live...I see you as a woman who has made me habituated to her existence, Zoya."
