Zoya was waiting at the bus stop to go home, while her mind was still stuck at the conversation with Pooja and Preeti. She was already bothered with Mahi's closeness with Aditya, and the way she has been behaving weirdly with Aditya, as a result of that. She wasn't being herself at all since the moment she got to know that Mahi has developed a crush towards Aditya. And the conversation at her office, has added some more fuel to the burning unrest in her heart.

The bus reached her stop in a while, and she entered inside. As the bus started to move, and Zoya looked around for seats, she was aghast to see Aditya and Mahi sitting over there, next to each other. Her jaw dropped looking at them both, travelling in bus together, with all smiles in their face. Just then, Aditya's eyes fell on Zoya and he had a surprised look.

"Zoya? Are you just coming from work?" Aditya asked, while Mahi too looked at her and smiled, "Hi Zoya!"

Zoya walked forward slowly, while she replied, "Yeah...I had some work to complete."

Zoya walked ahead crossing them, while Mahi asked her, "Where are you going, Zoya? Sit here nah...the seats are all empty here."

"It's okay. I will sit there." Zoya said gesturing at the back seat, and before they could say anything, she walked towards the backside of the bus and sat at the last seat. Aditya turned back and looked at Zoya, and saw her sitting at the last seat alone, and then taking out a book to read. He wondered why she wanted to go and sit all the way at the back, even when they were empty seats by the window. As a matter of fact, he knew that she hates travelling in the last seat.

"Aditya." Mahi called him out, while Aditya looked at her. She said, "I think it's better if you stay back and I alone go and arrange for the party items as planned I mean, if you too come with me, Zoya might have doubts. And if she asks me later, where did I go with you...I will have to say so many lies and cover up. So, I will do like this; I alone will get down at the next stop and carry on with the work, while you go home with Zoya."

"Yeah...I think you are right." Aditya said, as he thought over it. He added, "Anyway, Arjun too would have reached there by now. And Pooja also will join in some time. So yeah...keep me updated, and handover the party stuff to Arjun. We will keep them at our home."

Zoya lowered her book and looked at Aditya and Mahi in the front, and saw them talking something seriously with each other.

"Looks like they are discussing about the current economic crisis." Zoya muttered in an annoyed tone, "What do they have so much to discuss about?"

She once again remembered her colleague Preeti's story, and she muttered nervously, "What if Mahi already told him...that she likes him? And what if Aditya..."

The bus stopped, and Zoya immediately pretended to focus back into her book. On the other hand, Mahi got up from her place, and called out to Zoya. Zoya looked up at her, and Mahi said in a louder tone, "Zoya, I have to go and meet someone. I will be late. Anyway, see you at home! Bye!"

Zoya gave a stoic smile at her, and waved her hand slightly, as Mahi got down from the bus. She again focused back into her book, avoiding to have an eye contact with Aditya. The bus started moving again, while Aditya turned back and looked at Zoya.

"Zoya!!"

Zoya looked up at him, while Aditya said in a louder tone, "Come and sit here."

"It's okay...I am fine here." Zoya said in a stern tone, and raised the book to her eye level, covering her face from him. She looked out of the side window, with a miffed look.

Now only he remembered me? After Mahi left? No way! I am not going to sit there with him.

Zoya lowered the book slightly, and looked at the front and saw that Aditya was missing in his seat. She jolted as she opened her eyes wide, and looked for him, while she was startled to find Aditya sitting next to her. She looked at him, and asked in a serious tone, "Why did you come here?"
