It was night time and Zoya and Asha were walking in the footpath, while Zoya looked at the polythene bags in her hand.

"You need not have got all this for me, Asha...already you are doing so much for me...why this too..."

"Zoya, stop it..." Asha said looking at her, "I have said you a lot of times to avoid these formalities...this is nothing compared to what you are doing Zoya..."

Zoya walked along with Asha, while Asha added, "Relocating to a city all alone, finding a job...the least I can do is make you feel at home through these little gestures...please allow me to do that at least..."

Zoya smiled, "I am not doing anything great Asha...just finding ways to finish off the lifetime Allah has given me...I realized recently that I don't have the rights to end my life...at least...let me make my life worthy till He decides to call me up..."

"Come on Zoya...now you are making me sad..." Asha said with a worried look, "Well...let's talk something different...tell me this...you informed Radha Aunty that you got a job??"

"Yeah...she was happy and tensed at the same time..." Zoya gripped the hold of the bag, so that she doesn't drop them.

She added saying, "As in...I have no experience working anywhere...I always just roamed around with her only in Mussoorie, taking tuition for small kids at home...and now such a huge responsible job in a city...she felt just like how I felt it daunting...I said her I will take this up as a challenging start...but, somewhere inside, I am feeling nervous too..."

Asha put her hands behind Zoya's shoulders as she walked closer.

"Zoya, it's just an office...not a warfield...and designing is your cup of tea, what's there to panic about...just do your magic...that's it."

Zoya heaved as she nodded her head and said, "I hope I will be able to do this...Inshallah!!"

They reached the bus stop and Asha handed over the plastic bag in her hand to Zoya.

"Okay Zoya, I will leave now. I have to go meet Radhika Aunty at her place. She said she will send the car to the hostel. I will meet you on Sunday. Message me once you reach home, okay?"

Asha hugged Zoya, and gave a peck on her cheek, while she left Zoya at the stop, and walked off from there to the hostel at the next road.

The bus reached at the stop, and Zoya got in with all the bags in her hand, struggling to manage everything.

The bus started moving and she looked around for an empty seat. Just then, a bag slipped from her fingers and the things fell on the floor. With a tensed face, she bent down and started picking the things holding the seat nearby, for a grip. She saw one book below another seat.

Moving the other bags up her arms, she bent down to take it, as she placed her hand on a man's shoulder in place of the seat.

"Excuse me?? Hello??"

Zoya quickly released her hold hearing that, and looked up and saw Aditya sitting in that seat, with an irritated look.

They had a brief surprised eye lock on meeting each other there, and the bus turned at the junction. Zoya lost her balance, and as she was about to fall over the man on the other side, Aditya quickly caught her hand and pulled her towards him, and Zoya landed on the empty place next to Aditya.

Zoya placed her hand on her chest and heaved, while she looked at Aditya at her side. She noticed she was still holding his hand, and she quickly left his hand and moved a bit away to the corner of the seat, avoiding the close proximity with him.
