A car stopped outside the hospital at a screeching halt, and Arjun opened the door abruptly and ran inside the hospital. He pounced at the reception area, while Mahi, Harsh, and Naani came behind him.

"Aditya Hooda...where is he admitted?" Arjun asked in tears, with quivering lips. Behind their car came a taxi, from which Radha, Pooja, and Asha got out.

"He is in the ICU, Sir. Straight and left." The receptionist answered, and before she could finish, Arjun ran in that direction. Harsh and others followed him, while Zoya on the other hand was sitting in the chair outside the ICU; her body in shivers. Her mind was still stuck on that dreadful sight of Aditya getting hit by the jeep, and lying in a pool of blood. And his last word, Maa, still haunted her.

Everyone reached there, and Arjun pounced towards the ICU and saw inside through the view glass. He was shattered to see that sight: his beloved brother bloodstained all over, with an oxygen mask fitted on his face, surrounded by 2 doctors and 3 other nurses. Looking at Arjun's devastated look, Naani too tried to look inside, and couldn't bear what she saw. Clutching onto her chest, she collapsed in the chair nearby, while Asha and Mahi helped her.

"My Adi...my baby..." Naani said gasping for breath, as tears rolled down her cheeks, "What's all this..."

Pooja looked at Zoya, who was sitting still opposite them. Her white salwar kameez was drenched in blood, and it broke Pooja to see her in that state. When she couldn't bear seeing Aditya in that state, she imagined Zoya's state on having witnessed that right before her eyes.

"Zoya..." Pooja sat near Zoya, and held her blood-stained hands, "Zoya...look at me."

Zoya just had a lifeless look, as Pooja shook her. Her eyes were dead, while tears just kept rolling down uncontrollably.

"Zoya, speak something. Just look at me..." Pooja said in tears, while Radha too came near Zoya.

"Zoya, bacche...speak something to me." Radha wiped Zoya's face, as she said, "Aditya will be alright. You please...look at me."

Their words reached Zoya's ears, and her eyes could see everything happening before her. She saw many things that never happened to date, happening then right in front of her; Arjun crying his heart out for the first time, Harsh in tears, probably the first time he has expressed some love for his son, and a heartbroken Naani. She could see everything, but nothing reached her brain. All she heard in her mind was that she was the reason all this happened. Only if she hadn't broken her promise of not leaving him ever, only if she patiently and maturely dealt with this situation, only if she appreciated Aditya for his honesty, rather than punishing him for the same; he wouldn't be fighting for his life now. The man who twice saved her life was now fighting for the same because of her. She wondered if she could show her gratitude any worse than this.

Back at Hooda Mansion, Anjana walked to her room opened her wardrobe, and took out her chest. With a deep breath, she opened it and took out a letter from it.

The envelope read, "For the last time...my dear Harsh..."

She sat at the bed looking at it. The day Amrita ended her life, Anjana was the one who spotted her first, unconscious on the bed. As she was about to alert others, she didn't miss seeing this envelope in her hand. Fearing that letter to be a testament against her which could also turn Harsh away from her, she took it away and kept it away from other's eyes. She didn't know why she didn't tear it off and throw it away. Maybe, she wanted to read it someday. And she guessed that it was this day.

With a thumping heart, Anjana opened the envelope, and read it:

"Never in my life did I think that such a day would come; a day when I would be writing my last letter for you, my last letter in this life. But I can't do this anymore, Harsh. I am tired...I have lost everything. I have lost you...lost my love...lost my hope in life...lost trust in everything I always believed...
