Arjun completed his fourth round of jogging around the park and then entered the park to take some rest.
"Oh God..." Arjun panted heavily as he walked, "It's been so long since I went for a jog and now I feel exhausted just in some time."
He saw Aditya already sitting in one of the benches. He walked towards him.
"Bhai, you finished your rounds so soon?" Arjun asked, as he heaved and sat next to Aditya.
"Hmmm..." Aditya hummed, while he was lost in thoughts. The dream he saw last night kept haunting him. More than Zoya finding him with a pistol, the part that disturbed him the most, was a bleeding and injured Zoya. That means, there is some possible danger for her. But what can it be? And why will he shoot someone? Zoya can't have any enemies, as much as he knows her. Why will someone harm her?
"Bhai!!" Arjun shook Aditya by his shoulder, while Aditya looked at him.
"What's wrong with you? Why are you so serious?"
"Arjun..." Aditya took a moment and said, "Remember I once said you...that some dreams that I see come true..."
Arjun remembered Aditya talking about that in the restaurant one day, and he nodded his head, "Yeah I remember...you were even telling that you were worried that some dream you saw might happen..."
"Yeah...and it did happen...exactly the same way."
"What?? Really?" Arjun asked with a surprised look.
Aditya nodded his head, and said, "And now...I had another dream last night."
Arjun listened on keenly, while Aditya shared it with him. Arjun had a confused and nervous look hearing it.
"Okay...so...what's bothering you now?" Arjun asked, "Zoya being in danger or...your truth coming in front of her?"
Aditya looked at Arjun, while he walked away from the bench and said, "Maybe both...Arjun, I...I don't want to lose her...in either sense."
Arjun raised his eyebrows hearing that, while he clarified, "You mean...lose her as a result of any danger...or lose her as a result of Zoya knowing about your identity...in short, you can't afford to lose Zoya from your life...right?"
Aditya turned at Arjun hearing that, and stammered, "What...what am I saying...and what...are you talking...about?"
"Why bro? I did make sense, didn't I?" Arjun asked with a smile, as he stood up and walked towards Aditya.
"Zoya has become a part of your life and you don't want to lose her in any possible manner. You say it in words or not...the truth is that you have already fallen for Zoya!"
Aditya's heart beats raced hearing that last line. As much as that line gave him a sense of happiness, something still bothered him.
Aditya took a deep breath and looked at Arjun, "See Arjun, it's not..."
"...not like what you think. Zoya and I are just good friends..." Arjun mimicked Aditya's tone and expressions, "I am just worried for that girl who has recently lost everything in life. I just don't want her to lose another friend in me. Other than that...it's nothing of that kind of nonsense love story that you watch in your TV shows...You wanted to say this only right? Don't waste your time, because I am not going to believe this crap theory of yours."
Aditya looked away from Arjun, and had a slight smile on his face as he let out a chuckle, while Arjun too smiled looking at that.
He put his arm over Aditya's shoulders and said, "My dear brother...please don't go the typical Bollywood way. Hiding your love for the girl...masking it as friendship...have hundreds of failed attempts to tell three simple words which will take not even 3 seconds...and then when the girl leaves the country or gets engaged to someone, chase her in the airport and sing Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na...or gatecrash her wedding and do a Channa Mereya melodrama...trust me, these stuff are done to death in almost all movies and TV shows, and I don't want you in that list!"
