Chapter 46: A Night To Remember

It was night, and Aditya, Zoya, Arjun and Pooja reached back to the guesthouse. Aditya and Zoya got out of the jeep and as they walked to the house, while Pooja winked at Arjun, and he walked towards Aditya.

"Bhai, give me the jeep key." Arjun asked, extending his hand, while Aditya, with a confused look, handed it over to him and asked, "Why?"

"Uhhh...Pooja and I are planning to do some shopping, and then go for a drive." Arjun said with a smile, and before Aditya could ask anything else or offer to join them, he hopped on to the driver seat in the jeep, and Pooja had already taken her place in the front passenger seat.

"But, you both..." Zoya asked curiously, while Arjun had already started the engine. Pooja leaned forward and said in a loud tone, "No need to wait for us. We will be late! Bye!"

Arjun took the jeep in reverse and drove off from the place, while Pooja and Arjun broke into a chuckle. It was Zoya's special day, and they anyway had a plan to leave Aditya and Zoya alone for some time, to give an opportunity for Zoya to reconsider her feelings for Aditya. But now, after knowing about their relationship status too, it was mandatory that they had to be left alone with each other, which would also give them their much needed 'we' time.

Aditya and Zoya walked inside the house, and Aditya switched on the lights. He locked the door behind, and put the keys in the tray next to the window, while he asked with a smile, "So Zoya, did you have a memorable day?"

He turned back and saw Zoya leaning along the sofa, with her hands crossed over her chest, and staring at him.

Looking at that, he raised his brows and asked, "What happened?"

"Nothing. I was just looking at the man who once left unnoticed from Delhi and made a secret trip to Mussorie." Zoya said, as she walked towards him.

Hearing that, Aditya bit his tongue and looked down with a smile. Zoya stood opposite him, while she asked, "Looks like you went and proposed my Aunty, even before proposing me."

Aditya laughed hearing it, while he asked her, "So, what did you feel when you came to about know about it?"

Zoya looked down, as she twisted her saree pallu, and said, "I just thought that, you are making it difficult for me."

"Difficult in what?" Aditya asked, while Zoya replied in a soft tone, "Difficult in repaying the amount of love you are giving me. You are really doing a lot and...and I don't know if I can ever make up for all this."

Aditya smiled, as he walked forward and held her face with both his hands and said, "Just be around me this way...within my hand's hold. You can't make up for anything, more than that."

Zoya looked down with a smile, while Aditya put his hands back in his pocket, and asked, clearing his throat, "So, where is it?"

Zoya looked up and asked with a confused look, "What?"

"My return gift!" Aditya said with an anticipative look, "I planned so much for you, gave you so many surprises, and no return gift for me?"

"Uhh...well..." Zoya said, scratching her nape, "Well, the hug I gave you yesterday...it was for that only...yeah?"

"That hug? That's it?" Aditya asked in a deep tone, as he walked ahead, making Zoya move back simultaneously.

"And...I also..." Zoya looked down and said in a low voice, "I also...gave you a kiss."

"That was a kiss? Even Arjun kisses me that way." Aditya responded in a disagreeing tone, as he proceeded walking further. Just, then he placed his hand behind Zoya's head, as she hit against the window pane.
