PoV: Sonic

"Alright, your injuries are looking much better. You'll be able to resume your regular daily life in a few days," the doctor examining me replied, "Once you no longer feel soreness in your stomach you'll be fine."

"Thank you. The medicines have really been helping," I closed the paper gown this doctor had me wearing. Finally, I'm getting better. Scourge should be too- "...um... Doctor... do you think I'll be able to... uh..."

"Hm? Ah, you're married correct? Interacting with your partner is important in a relationship. You should be able to handle intercourse now, but you must stop the moment it becomes painful. Understood?" He handed me a paper that explained the appointment today.

"Y-yes... thank you..." I knew my face was red, I didn't even finish asking the question. Looks like I don't have to wait anymore... Scourge might have to wait longer though- What am I thinking?!

"Creampies~"

That idiot drug dealer is putting thoughts into my head. I'm being brainwashed!?

"Are you alright? Is something wrong with your partner?" The doctor asked.

"N-no he just has worse injuries is all- I mean. It's nothing..." I groaned. This can't get any worse...

---

"You're home~" Scourge grabbed me as soon as I came in, "What did the doctor say?"

"A few more days and I can go back to my regular routine," I felt his hands on my lower back, "What did your doctor say today?"

"... I still can't do anything for another week..." he moved his hands up around my waist.

"You were hurt badly. Don't worry. It won't be too long of a wait. Besides you can walk around. Maybe we could do something calm to speed the days along," I ran my fingers through his quills. He's still tossing and turning at night. How do I get him to relax?

"Sonic..." he had a stupid grin on his face, "You just asked me on a date didn't you?"

"What? No! Why the hell would I want to go on a date with you? Drug lord idiot," I pushed him off me, "I meant you could go take a walk or something to pass the time."

"Walks are boring alone. I'd rather go somewhere with you," he grabbed my hand, "We haven't left the house in days."

"We can hardly do anything as it is. You still get tired after walking up the stairs. Where do you expect us to go?" I sighed.

"There's a drive-through movie theater in town. We wouldn't have to do much exercise," he showed me the ad on his phone, "This one has a make-your-own chilidog stand."

"Really?" I grabbed his phone and zoomed in on the ad, "What movies are they playing?"

"It's supposed to be this series of old horror movies. Also, the refills on popcorn are free," Scourge held me, "So? Want to finally have our first date?"

"Fine, but you're buying all the chilidogs I eat," It honestly sounded like fun. I liked watching horror movies with my friends in high school. I hadn't done so in a long time, "You think they'll have jalapeños as a topping?"

"I'm sure they'll have everything," he walked with me to the couch, "It doesn't start until eight tonight. I've already picked out what you'll wear."

"Okay?"

---

"Not as bad as I thought it would be," I put on the clothes Scourge had picked for tonight, "Actually... it's pretty normal."
