Jake Park wiggled in my grasp. His struggles teetered my body slightly as I walked through the fog. I approached a nearby hook and thrusted him off my shoulder and onto it. Jake screamed murder and clutched the back of the hook desperately. Hot blood gushed from where it punctured him. I spun around and set off into the sky with a big swoop of my wings. I soared through the night sky for the next survivor to hunt down. A murder of crows fluttered along with me, cawing loudly. As we flew across the tall trees of the dark ironworks, my mind drifted.

I contemplated everything that had happened leading up to this moment. Was this the Entity's plan all along? To corrupt me into a killer? It first dragged me to the realm many years ago. I was just another survivor back then. But that all changed the night I met the Ghost Face. I didn't know what, but something about me made him fall.

He fell hard. So did I, obviously.

The Ghost Face—Danny, managed to pull some strings. After a few not so innocent encounters with him, he took me in as his forever. Then came a ring, then a baby...

Then the fall.

The Entity created this sick and twisted game for us. It completely erased my mind from knowing about the realm. About knowing about my Danny, my own daughter. It took me back to the twenty first century. I technically was older than what I looked, but that was irrelevant. One of my favourite things about the realm actually was that I never aged. But yeah, anyway... it gave Danny the task of making me fall in love with him all over again. If he succeeded, I got to go back to the realm with him with all my memories back.

But if he couldn't get me to fall in love...

The Entity was a sore loser. It did just what it was going to do to me if he lost anyway. It killed me. Cold blooded and painful my death was. For some reason though, it didn't last. I supposed that was the Entity's plan. Its legacy.

It made me beautiful.

An angel of death. A black winged assassin of the night to kill. My eyes were as black as the corrupted soul I now possessed.

Everything Danny and I did in the real world, was completely omitted. The friends I made... Kim and Rhonda... they had never even met me. Which actually made me sad, having bonded with them and all. Those mercenaries Danny killed... Derek Grey. He was still alive and well. He also had never heard of us. It was bizarre. I didn't know how the Entity managed all this. I was actually frightened by how much power it had. It was strange though. Even after erasing my memory, I still always kind of knew the Ghost Face and I had a connection. Though it was vague and blurry and just a bunch of visions, I still knew.

My family and I had been through a lot these past couple of months. It had been a bumpy ride full of terrible twists and turns. Yet, I was still here. I didn't know if that was a good thing.

My black eyes set on a survivor down below, fixing a generator. I readied my weapon, and swooped down.

I fluttered down in front of my cabin. I jogged up the steps and dumped my bloody weapon down on the porch. Fresh blood sprinkled along the rotten wood of the porch. I swung the door open to be greeted by my family. Danny sat in his recliner, wiping his knife clean. His Ghost Face getup laid about messily on the floor. Angel was sprawled out on the couch, her phone just centimetres away from her face. Danny looked up from his knife and smiled tiredly at me.

"Sweetheart." He said.

The killer shot up from his seat and strode over to where I stood by the door.

"Hi, honey." I smiled.

Danny grinned and snaked his arms around my waist. His fingers ran through the feathers of my wings, causing a shiver to run down my spine. I giggled as he caressed my cheek. I threw my arms around his neck and pulled him into a tender kiss.

"Bleh! Why you two always touching on each other?" Angel asked from the couch.

Danny and I broke apart and glanced over at her. We both broke into laughter.

"Because I love them." Danny cooed jokingly.

The unmasked Ghost Face grabbed my chin with his hand and squealed in awe at me. I giggled and played along, making Angel groan.

"Sick!" She screeched.

That only made her father and I laugh harder. We came over and sat on either side of her.

"We love you too!" I exclaimed.

I hugged Angel's waist and squeezed her tightly. My wings wrapped around her, shrouding her in black feathers. Danny leaned onto her and stretched his own arms around the both of us.

"Ugh! You guys!" The girl whinged.

It was so funny to me. Once again, after everything we went through. All the hard work, the waiting, the carnage, the heartbreak.

We all still ended up here, together, and happy.

The Entity may have corrupted us all in its own dark way, but we were still ourselves. Of course, Danny had always been bad well before I met him. That didn't matter to me. That hadn't mattered to me for a very, very long time. Alas, Angel was getting crazier like him everyday.

And as for me? You knew the story!

All the hard work, the waiting, the carnage, the heartbreak... it was how I was created.

This was all just leading up to...
