Chapter 13

"Y/n where were you" Jasmine asked sitting up on the couch.

You looked back and didn't say anything. She waited up for you. This wasn't typical of Jasmine but here you were. You sighed and leaned against the counter.

"I can't tell you" you said looking at her.

"And why not?" she asked standing up getting upset.

"Because I can't" you said sighing. "If I tell you I will be putting you in danger."

She groaned and ran her hands through her hair.

"Why do you continue to lie to me" she said keeping her hands on her head.

"I haven't lied about anything, I can't tell you and that is the truth." You said seeing her start to get angry. "You just have to trust me"

"But thats the thing I don't trust you, you made it hard when you disappeared last night and when you started hiding things from me" she raised her voice a bit.

"I haven't hid anything from you" you said staying calm.

She scoffed and walked into your room. You didn't really care because she couldn't have found anything. You heard her go into your closet and you sighed looking down at your feet. She took something out and started to walk back out.

"If your not hiding anything then what is this?" She asked and you looked up seeing the red dress in her hands.

Your mouth opened a bit. You didn't know what to say. She had the dress that was made for you and there was no denying that it was the dress in the videos that were all over the news.

"How did you find that?" You asked

"When I went into your room last night to see if you were okay. After I realized you were gone I saw it in your closet. And when I looked at it the first time I didn't know why it seemed so familiar but then I watched the news some more when the video of Longshot came up." She said looking at you with an intense gaze. "So please enlighten me with why and how you have this dress that is exactly like Longshots"

You looked at her with a stoic face. There was a silence for awhile, you both just looked at each other. You were caught and you knew you were, there wasn't a way to get out of this with out lying. You pressed your lips together.

"I can't tell you" you said softly and she scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Y/n please"- she started but you cut her off quickly.

"Jasmine at the end of the day you already know too much so I will make this easier for both of us." You said walking towards her. "I'll be out by the end of the day and if anyone asks about me you will just say that you don't know who I am" you said then walking into your room.

You grabbed your bags and started to pack your stuff when she came into your room.

"You are The Silent Anti-hero Longshot, you are the girl in the videos on the news. But you are also someone who saves innocent people" she said and you just looked at her. "I already know, I just wanted to hear it from you"

"Jasmine please don't make this difficult." You said sighing.

"There has to be a way that you don't have to leave." She said.

"Jasmine it's not that simple." You said.

"Isn't there someone you could call?" She asked you could hear her voice start to crack.

You stopped packing and sighed. She made it very hard not to try but this whole situation was not good. You were sloppy and as a result Jasmine found out. You didn't even know how this would work, even if you left she would be in danger because she knows. You ran through a list of people you could call and the only one who could even maybe do something was Dabi.

"Give me 5 minutes" you said and she nodded leaving your room.

You grabbed your phone and called Dabi walking back and forth as the phone rang. When he picked up you went out your window and onto the fire escape.

"Hey we need to talk" you said and he hummed in response "Jasmine found the dress and she knows I'm Longshot. And before you say I told you so, is there anyway her knowing wouldn't put her in danger?" You asked and he paused.

"Y/n" he said in a disappointed tone.

"Look I know I fucked up, can you just answer the question." You said and he sighed.

"There is one way, but from how you have described her in the past it doesn't seem like it would be a good idea." He said and few things ran through your mind.

"And what would that be?" You asked leaning your back against the wall.

"We would have to convince the hell out of shigarki to let her join the league. And by we, I mean you"

"Okay thats all I need to hear." You said. "I just need you to set up a meeting with him for me" you said and he agreed and then hung up.

You went back in your room and saw Jasmine standing there. She looked scared but she was trying to put on a brave face.

"Get dressed we have to go somewhere." You said and she nodded.

After she got dressed and you brought her to the hideout and told her to wait outside. Dabi was inside and he looked back at you then down at his drink. You and shigarki had a conversation, well more of an argument about how you got caught. But you kept going until he said he would at least meet her and see if she was worthy. You walked out and grabbed her and she looked nervous.

"Hi I'm jasmine" she said softly.

"What is your quirk?" Shiggy quickly asked.

"Uh I can invade peoples thoughts but I have to have extreme concentration." She said trying to hide the shaking of her voice.

"Is it the process the same for each person?"

"No not exactly. If they are strong minded then it could be potentially difficult. Like Y/n for example, she has walls built up almost 100% of the time so it would be harder to invade her thoughts and I would need more concentration, but if it was her it wouldn't be to difficult" she said gesturing towards Toga.

Shigarki looked at her then at me. He nodded and took jasmine into the back to explain to her what we were doing. You sighed and sat next to Dabi.

"Thank you" you said and Dabi looked over at you.

"For?" He asked taking a drink.

"For setting this up" you said and he chuckled.

"Well it made it better for me when I saw what she looked like." He said with a smirk on his face.

"You are so weird dude" you said and he laugh lightly.

"No but in all honesty it's fine, you do a lot for me especially being as pretty as you are."

You paused for a second to process what he said and he got out of his seat walking behind you and leaning down to your ear.

"Just take the compliment" he whispered and you smiled as he walked away from you.
