It had been a few weeks and you and Dabi were talking again and it made you feel happier. You and Jasmine were looking for a new place because your brother knew where you lived and that bothered the both of you. Jasmine was getting ready to go house hunting and you were looking around the apartment for something.

"Hey Jasmine have you seen my bow and quiver?" You asked hoping she would have grabbed it after you basically threw a tantrum and threw them on the ground.

"Uh yeah I think Dabi has them" she said pausing for a second. "Actually he does, he took them when we left training that day" she called from the bathroom.

"Okay I'm gonna go get them" you said putting on your shoes. "Text me if you find anything" you said and left the house.

You began the journey to Dabis apartment. You were really hoping you wouldn't have a reason to be over there because you knew you were going to want to stay there but you just had to be strong and get your stuff and leave. As you walked you noticed people looking at you more then normal. People noticed you pretty often but this time they were whispering and pointing. You kept walking trying not to pay any mind to them. That was until you people start to take pictures of you. You heard two girls walking behind you start talking a decided to listen.

"I think that might be her" one girl said

"Are you sure, she has a pretty plain face. Wouldn't he go for someone prettier" the other girl said making you press your lips together.

"It has to be, it's the same tattoo in the same spot" the girl said.

You stopped and looked back at them making them look at the ground and walk past you. You looked down at your arm seeing your moon tattoo. You looked at it for a second before it clicked what they were talking about. The article. You sighed and kept walking. You hadn't really been out since the article about Hawks having a significant other came out so this was the first you were hearing about it in a few weeks. You rolled your eyes to yourself thinking it couldn't get any worse and just then Hawks landed in front of you.

"Hey Y/n" he said with his charming smile and you closed your eyes and pressed your lips together.

You could already feel more people looking at you then before.

"Hawks this is a really bad time" you said looking to the side making him look as well.

"Oh the press, that's a normal thing for me" he said shrugging it off.

"Yeah not for me, especially when several people have been whispering and pointing at me because of my tattoo" you said and then it clicked for him.

"Ohhhh" he said and rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry"

"Just come on" you said as you kept walking.

Eventually the press stopped following you because they were hoping to get a picture of you two holding hands or something like that.

"You know it's gonna be pretty weird if they find out I have a wife" he said and you snapped your head at him.

"You have a wife?!" You asked completely shocked.

"Yes I have a wife Y/n. She was also pretty peeved when she saw the article" he said with a laugh.

"How could you not tell me you have a wife" you said as you both continued to walk.

"No one knows I have a wife, Dabi only found out a year ago" he said seeing your shocked face.

"Why don't you tell people you have a wife bro, it would probably help with all the fan girls" you said looking over at him.

"She didn't want to be in the pubic eye and I respect that" he said looking forward. "I mean I get it, it can be a lot"

"Wait so if Dabi knows you have a wife, why did he feel the need to ask if you liked me?" You asked.

"I guess he thinks that I would like you, I mean come on Y/n who wouldn't" he said and you felt your cheeks warm up. "My wife even said so when she saw you"

"Wait she saw me?" You asked confused.

"She has seen a picture or two from the gala from a few months ago." He said seeing you get stressed. "Don't worry she didn't see the dress it was from the neck up" he said.

"Oh okay you made me nervous" you said with a small laugh.

You could see Dabis house coming into view and you felt your heart start to speed up. Hawks looked over at you. He could hear your heart speed up and he thought it was cute but he also felt sad. He knew that Dabi liked you but also knew that Dabi not talking to you was an attempt to push you away that failed miserably. He knew Dabi had genuine feelings for you but he also knew Dabi wasn't good with this kind of stuff.

"Thank you for walking me" you said stopping at the stairs.

"Not a problem" he said with a smile. "And don't worry I'll clear up this whole me and you dating thing to the press" he said and you nodded before he flew away.

You walked up the stairs and to the door before you knocked. You waited for a second with no response so you knocked again. This time the door opening. You saw Dabi but took notice that he didn't have a shirt on and you let your eyes travel down until you heard him chuckle lightly.

"Hey" he said and you looked back up to his eyes.

"Hey um do you have my bow and quiver?" You asked trying to keep your eyes on his.

"Yeah its inside" he said turning away from the door leaving it open and you walked in. "They are in here" he said as he walked into the bedroom.

You followed and saw him putting a shirt on and that made you slightly frown.

"Sorry you seemed to have trouble focusing" he said making your cheeks get warm.

"Yeah yeah whatever" you said sitting on the bed.

He grabbed your stuff from the closet and you noticed that there were new arrows in your quiver.

"You didn't have anymore so I made you some" he said handing them to you.

"Thank you" you said standing up. "I appreciate it"

You two just looked at each other for a few seconds. You could feel the tension building faster and faster and so could he. It was a tension that was all to familiar to you when it came to him. You didn't know if you should say something but you caught yourself looking at his lips and back up to his eyes and he was doing the same. You felt your stomach start to feel light and fluttery and your face warmed up more.

"Uh sorry" you said clearing your throat. "Thank you this is all I needed" you said quickly

You started to walk out of the room when you felt your arm being pulled back and he placed his lips on yours.
