Chapter 21

"Hey Y/n" Hawks said with a smile.

"Hey Hawks" you said smiling, "What are you doing here?" You asked.

"Just visiting Dabi is all" he said and you nodded. "But I gotta get going, it was lovely seeing you" he said gently grabbing your hand and kissing it then flying away.

You shook your head and walked in then closing the door. You saw Dabi on the couch with his head leaned back and his eyes closed. You didn't say anything to him and he didn't say anything to you. You walked into the room and placed your bag down then sitting on the bed. You scrolled through your phone and eventually laid down. About an hour went by when Dabi walked in. He stopped and just looked at you for a second. You felt his gaze on you and it sent chills through your body. You sat up and looked back at him.

"Y/n"-

"I'm sleeping on the couch" you said bluntly and walked past his gently brushing his arm with yours.

He sighed and put his hand on his face and walking towards the bed. On your way to the living room you turned off the lights that were on and then you laid on the couch and tried to sleep. You eventually fell asleep but you kept waking up every few hours and it didn't help that you were freezing and forgot to grab extra blankets but when you fully fell asleep you were knocked. When Dabi woke up he walked out and saw you sleeping curled up in a ball. He sighed and went to grab another blanket for you laying it on you. After a while he got in shower. While he was in there you woke up and stretched noticing the extra blanket.

You stretched and went into the room to get your toothbrush and toothpaste. You walked over to the bathroom and as you went to open the door it swung open. Dabi was standing there with a towel resting low on his hips leaving v-line on display. Your eyes traveled down his body before quickly looking away. Dabi looked at you taking notice to your bed head. You cleared your throat as he took a step towards you. You quickly went around him and shut the door.

For the next few days you and Dabi drifted around each other. Neither of you spoke to each other and when you did speak it was you saying excuse me or him starting to say something and you removing yourself. It wasn't like you were mad at him or anything, you weren't sure how you were supposed to feel about him at this moment. So you chose to feel nothing at all.

It had been about a week now and you were asleep on the couch when you got a phone call. You shot up and picked up the phone.

"Hello?" You said still half asleep.

"Y/n he got out!" Toga said.

With those words you were now fully awake. You jumped over the couch and ran into the room turning on the lights and quickly grabbing your bow and quiver.

"Y/n what's wrong?" Dabi asked sitting up.

"He got out, hurry up and get up" you said going out of the room.

You walked out the door in only your sports bra and some compression shorts with your socks.

"Where is he at Toga?" You asked going down the stairs Dabi following close behind you

"He is heading east" she said and you stared running.

You and Dabi ran as fast as possible. In the distance you could see him using his binding cloth to stay on high ground. You stopped at a building and started to climb it.

"Y/n what are you doing?" Dabi asked grabbing your hand.

"Why don't you stop worrying about what I'm doing and focus on what you need to be doing" you said pulling your hand away from him still climbing.

He groaned and stared running for Aizawa again. You got to the top of the building and started hopping buildings. In this part of town the buildings were basically built on top of each other and this would give you an advantage. You saw him and you also saw Dabi not to far ahead. Aizawa stretched out his binding cloth and you saw bright blue fire and then the cloth was burnt. When you got to a building close enough to see what was going you saw that Dabi was kind just shooting fire without actually being able to see Aizawa fully. He couldn't risk making eye contact. You pulled out an arrow and tried to line up the shot but they were both was to close and moving a bit fast.

You took a deep breath and pulled back waiting for an opening. Dabi was getting his ass beat just as much as he was beating Aizawas ass but you could tell Dabi was getting frustrated and sloppy. You watched closely and Dabi went to shoot fire when it suddenly stopped. They made eye contact. They started fist fighting and you found your opening. You took a deep breath and as Dabi threw his punch you knew Aizawa was going to throw the next one and Dabi was gonna duck just enough for you to get a clear shot. As Dabi started to duck you released the arrow and it struck Aizawa in his upper arm. You quickly pulled out two more arrows shooting one that got him in the other arm and the last one hitting him in the leg.

You lowered your bow and Dabi looked up at you. You both looked at each other then you quickly turned away and climbed down the building. You both brought him back and tied him back up, this time taking his binding cloth with you. You both walked back to Dabi house and not a word was spoken just some tension between the two of you. You walked in and went strait to the room to put your stuff away.

"Y/n what is your problem?" Dabi asked crossing his arms leaning on the door frame.

"Nothing" you said plainly.

"Really nothing" he said sounding a bit irritated.

"Yeah, nothing" you said turning towards him and walking towards the door stopping in front of him. "So why don't you worry about yourself" you said pushing past him before he grabbed your arm.

"Don't be like that" he said pulling you back to him.

You looked at him and he looked at you. He knew what he was doing and he was stupid to think that you didn't.

"What do you want me to say Dabi?" You asked in a low voice. "Do you want me to say to your face that you hurt me, because there's nothing like the way you love to hurt me. Or do you want me to say how much i want you, do you want me to show you all the things i can do for you that she can't?" You said seeing his eyes go a bit dark. "Or maybe all three" you said leaning closer to his face.

He looked at you and you could feel his breath on your face and the lust swirling in his eyes. You parted your lips a bit and he leaned closer to you before you pulled away with a smile.

"No" you said and he looked at you with a surprised face. "You don't get that" you said walking away from him and he just watched. "Goodnight Dabi"
