"Dude this research is exhausting. We can't find anything he was just gone for six years until he popped up in America" Dabi said sitting in a chair with an irritated tone.

"I know I'm sorry it's just... it's bothering me" Hawks said

"I get it man this shit is irritating, but it's late why dont you take a break for a few days and then we can come back." Dabi said and Hawks sighed and agreed.

Both got up and left the office and said their goodbyes. Dabi started to walk home think you would be back already so he had something to look forward too. However when he walked in the house you were no where to be found. He went in the room thinking maybe you left but all your stuff was still there. He sat on the couch and wondered where you might be.

"Y/n are you okay" Jasmine asked again quietly as you walked home your face blank.

"Yeah... I'm fine" you said as you continued to walk.

Jasmine was walking you all the way back to Dabis house because you were in no condition to go by yourself. She didn't know what he said to you because he wouldn't let her listen to the conversation. So she waited outside and when he left she went in and found you like this. She walked behind you most of the time because you looked like you didn't want to be touched. You both got to Dabis house and you slowly walked up the stairs then getting to the door before you paused. Jasmine looked at you just look at the door knob with tears in your eyes and she sighed opening the door for you. When she opened the door Dabi was asleep on the couch. She could tell he had tried to stay up for you. She walked you inside and to the bedroom. She laid you down in the bed and covered you with the blankets. You laid there and closed your eyes as one tear fell from the corner of your eye.

Jasmine looked away because she knows that you don't like crying in front of people so she cracked the door and went out to the living room. She picked up some of the stuff Dabi had out to try and clean up before she woke him up.

"Dabi" she said softly. "Dabi wake up" she said lightly touching him.

He let out a groan and looked over at her immediately sitting up and looking around.

"Where's Y/n?" He asked in a worried tone.

"She's in the room but Dabi I have to tell you something first." She said and he nodded. "I dont know if she told you this or not but she has a brother who she was really close with until he disappeared.

Flash back: about 8 years ago. (Y/n POV)

"Are you hiding under here" Nick said as he looked under the coffee table making me laugh a little bit. "Come on Y/n where are you" he said looking around for me.

I watched him look back around the house but he still couldn't find me because I was in the vent. I'm surprised he didn't see the screws on the floor but hey if he's blind he's blind.

"Come on give me a hint" he said standing in the middle of the house. "I have to find you before mom gets home"

I smiled a little bit and let out a whistle and his head snapped towards the direction I was in. I did my best not to laugh but he looked so confused. He walked over and looked under and behind everything that was there.

"Whistle one more time" he said and I did as he asked.

He snapped his head to the side and just looked at the wall his eyes going down for a second seeing the screws.

"No you did not" he said looking up at the vent with a smile as I started to laugh.

"I did" I said pushing the vent cover forward so he could see me.

"Get out" he said with a laugh.

I carefully hoped out of the vent and put the screws back, sweeping up the dust. As we both sat on the couch when we heard the door start to unlock seeing our mom walk through. I got up and ran to her. She was gone before I woke up so Nick had to walk me to school. I wrapped my arms tightly around her and she placed a kiss on my head.

"Happy birthday Y/n" she said and I smiled.

My mom, Nick and I all had dinner and then they sang to me. I got a cute little red cake. It was my favorite color. Nick had gotten me a red hair ribbon to put in my hair and mom had gotten me something big.

"Okay Y/n now for my gift." She said putting it on the table.

When I saw it my eyes started to sparkle. It was a bow, arrows, and a quiver.

"Do you like it?" She asked and I nodded. "Oh wonderful" she said smiling at me. "These used to be mine. The bow is made of a flexible metal so when you untie the string it turns into a staff. The arrows are all made by me. They are made of the same metal of the bow with red arrow heads." She said.

I was so excited. Unlike my mom and brother I wasn't blessed with a quirk. I didn't mind, it was never a big deal but you always did like watching your mom shoot arrows at your grandpas house. She looked so powerful when she did it even though she wasn't using her quirk.

"Alright I think its time for bed you have school tomorrow" Nick said and mom nodded in agreement.

I sighed and got up from the table taking my gifts with me. I got in bed and they both said goodnight and I don't remember falling asleep but I guess I did. However in the middle of the night, I woke up to the sound of muffled noises outside my room. I got out of bed and went up to my door and I could only make out who it was not what they were saying. It sounded serious to me. I could only make out a few words they were saying. Nick was saying yes but my mom was saying no and then there was a slap sound. I quickly got back in bed when I heard her say she was sorry. Nick had said it was fine and they said goodnight.

When I woke up the next morning I got dressing in my uniform and put my red ribbon in my hair and couldn't wait to show Nick. I walked into the living room but I couldn't find anyone there. I went to the kitchen and I saw mom standing there with her head down.

"Mom where is Nick?" I asked and she looked up at me with bags under her eyes.

End of flash back*

"She never told Y/n where he went just that she couldn't talk about him anymore" she said seeing Dabi trying to take in all of what Jasmine just said.
