After you dropped off Aizawa and tied him up at the hide out you all walked out into the bar. Dabi and Jasmine had some drinks and you just smoked in the back. You didn't notice that you were staring at them until Compress came up to you.

"You stare at them any harder you will burn a hole through them" Compress said standing next to you.

"I was not staring at them" you said looking over at him.

"What ever you need to tell yourself" he said with a laugh. "I heard about what happened, you really saved her ass you know that right?"

"I mean I guess, it was her first time so I can't blame her" you said.

"But even still, I heard she was freaking out" he said.

"Well yeah, she was." You said pausing. "But you know she did a good job, I mean we caught him" you said shrugging your shoulders.

"Me and you both know that's not how it was supposed to go down , she was just supposed to get into his thoughts but she couldn't even do that" he said crossing his arms. "We only captured him because of you".

You stayed silent. He wasn't wrong. She did a good job to an extent. She didn't get any sort of information from him. You weren't supposed to capture him until you all figured out what to do with Riftain and there was still information you had to get from him. You just sighed and shook your head.

"Hey Y/n you ready to go?" Dabi asked and you nodded.

You went to walk out when Compress gently grabbed your hand.

"Y/n" he said "you are the only reason today was a success, in more ways then one... don't let anyone tell you other wise" he said.

You looked at him and nodded and he gave you his charming smile. You smiled back at him and walked to the door where Dabi was waiting for you. You walked out and dabi looked back at compress and compress looked back at him and then Dabi walked out. Jasmine was on the phone with her boyfriend and you were just leaning on the wall waiting.

"You okay?" Dabi asked standing next to you.

"Yeah" you said taking a hit from your vape.

"What were you and Compress talking about?" He asked looking at you.

"Noting much" you said. " he just made me realize something"

"And that would be?"

"That jasmine didn't do a good job" you said. "I love her don't get me wrong but she is not the type to be able to handle this type of stuff"

"She tried it was her first time" he said.

"Yeah and thats a great excuse but I didn't fuck up my first mission to the point where someone had to save my ass" you said looking at him.

"Hey you guys ready?" She asked.

"Yeah" you said still looking at him.

You turned away from him and started walking. Dabi walked you both back and you both went into the apartment. You shut the door and you both took off your shoes. You went to walk into your room when she stopped you.

"Can I ask you something?" She said making you look at her. "Why did you get involved?"

"We needed your reaction to be realistic you started to crack and he was gonna figure out you were faking" you said.

"But he didn't know you were faking" she said almost getting defensive.

"Because I'm a good liar" you said and her face changed a little bit.

"Yeah, obviously" she said walking to her room.

"Really" you said as she walked by you.

She shut her door and locked it. You sighed and walked into your room turning and closing the door.

"What was that about?" Dabis voice rang through your room making you jump.

"Son of a bitch" you said turning to look at him. "What are you doing?" You asked running your hand through your hair.

"I don't want to go home and I want to hang out with you" he said laying on your bed.

"You could have just asked" you said walking over to your dresser.

"Well if I asked that would mean I would also be hanging out with jasmine and you and her have had a weird tension since earlier" he said pulling out a cigarette.

"You didn't seem to mind earlier" you said walking over to him and taking the cigarette from him then giving him your vape.

"Uh why did you take my cigarette?" He asked looking almost hurt.

"Because the last time you smoked in here it took forever to get the smell out" you said. "But you can hit my vape, it's like the same thing but it tastes good"

He looked at it and took a hit inhaling and blowing out.

"Holy shit that tastes good" he said sitting up.

You let out a laugh as he took another hit. You took off your hoodie and sweatpants, grabbing a big shirt from your drawer.

"Is that mine?" He asked seeing the shirt you pulled out.

You shrugged your shoulders and smiled. You took off your chest plate and pulled your hair to the side and reached for the zipper.

"Let me help" Dabi said coming up behind you. You looked back at him with a hesitant look. "As a friend" he said and you nodded.

He slowly pulled down the zipper then pulling the fabric off your shoulders. You pulled the sleeves off of your arms and turned to look at him feeling the tension around you both.

"Nice bra" he said breaking the silence.

"Whatever" you said pushing his face gently.

He let out a laugh and you changed into the shirt and a pair of shorts. You both stayed up and talked for a while and he enjoyed your company. You took notice to him hitting your vape more and more.

"Stop" you said laughing "you're gonna make me have to get a new one" you said pulling it away from his lips.

He rolled his eyes and you smiled a bit. Some more time passed and you eventually fell asleep. You were laying on his chest and he had his arm around your waist. Dabi felt his eyes get heavy and he pulled you closer to him falling asleep himself. The reason Dabi didn't want to go home wasn't only because he wanted to hang out with you. It was also because he hadn't been able to sleep since you weren't there with him.
