It had been a few days since you tried to apologize to Dabi and he ignored you completely. You didn't know what his problem was but you also didn't think that you yelling at him would have made him that upset. You decided to give him space but even though you were giving him space you kept notice to Hawks' presence around you when you would go out at night by yourself. And tonight was no different. You were walking and you could feel him above you. He knew you knew he was there but he liked waiting to see what you would say when you got fed up with it.

"Jeez Hawks can you just tell him that he if he wants to know if I'm okay he can come find me himself" you said and heard Hawks chuckle.

"You know he's to prideful for that Y/n" he said coming down to you. "So where are we off to tonight?"

"We aren't going anywhere. I'm going on a walk, you should go home" you said trying to get him to leave.

"What?!" He said dramatically. "But I've had so much fun going to the store with you for late night snacks because you are lonely" he said in a cunning tone making you smile and roll your eyes.

"You're one to talk, you must be just as lonely as I am if you have the free time to follow me to the store" you said and he laughed lightly. "So can you tell me now why he is making you follow me?"

"Sorry little lady I cannot" he said and you sighed.

"I dont understand why he can't just come talk to me" you said letting out a sigh.

"He has his reasons. Reasons I can't share because I know he wouldn't want me to" Hawks said walking with you into the store.

"You know people are going to get the impression that we are dating if you keep coming places with me" you said going down the isle with the snacks while Hawks carried the basket.

"Come on Y/n, be real no one would think we are dating, I mean have you seen me" he said striking a little pose with the basket.

"Are you saying I'm not attractive" you asked giving him a side eye with a smile.

"No no I would never say that... but if the shoe fits" he said and you playfully pushed him.

You both got the snacks you wanted and went to checkout. Hawks paid and you both left and went to his agency's building.

"You wanna climb up or do you want me to fly us up?" He asked and you thought about if for a second.

"Let's fly up this time" you said and he smiled.

"Okay put your arms around my neck" he said and you did as you were told.

You looked behind you and you felt Hawks lower himself a little bit then picking you up and wrapping your legs around him. You looked at him surprised.

"You did not tell me I had to ride up there like this" you said rolling your eyes.

"You'll be fine" he said with a laugh. "Just try not to fall in love with me" he said with a smirk.

Before you could even respond he took off. You felt the wind in your hair until you felt him land. He gently put you down and you pushed his lightly.

"Like I would ever fall in love with you" you said and he laughed.

You both sat on the edge and ate the snacks. You both talked for awhile about nothing, just things that interested you both. Eventually it went silent between you two and you though back to what he said when he brought you to your grandpas house. You weren't sure if you wanted to know but at the same time you did want to know.

"If you're not ready to know don't ask" he said drinking his drink. "I know you want to know but I'm not going to tell you unless I know you are ready to hear it"

"What if I am ready to hear about it?" You asked trying to convince yourself more then him.

"But you're not" he said looking at you. "You might want to be but I can see that you aren't. Don't worry Y/n I'll tell you when I know you are mentally ready because it's a lot."

You just nodded your head and you both continued to eat your snacks. You all saw people taking pictures from across the street and you both laughed. After another hour or two Hawks walked you home. He was right you weren't ready and you didn't like that he could tell. You got to your building and climbed up the fire escape.

"Thank you Hawks you can go now" you say when you get to your window that was still open.

"Have a good rest of your night Y/n" he said and you smiled.

"Before you go" you said stopping him. "Tell Dabi that if he wants to talk to me he has my number." You said and he gave you a small smile and flew away. You climbed in your window and closing it behind you. You sat on your bed and pulled out your vape taking a hit looking around your room. You looked at your dresser and something looked off but you weren't sure what it was. You looked a little longer noticing what was weird. You got off your bed and picked up the pack of cigarettes that was on your dresser. He was here and left his cigarettes. Did he do it intentionally? That wasn't the point, why was he in your room and when was he here. You rolled your eyes and put them back on the dresser. You had a meeting tomorrow night so you could give them back then.

You didn't remember falling asleep but Jasmine woke you from the knocking on the door. You got up and opened the door seeing a panicked look on her face.

"Y/n we have a problem" she said in basically a whisper. "Your brother is here" she said and your eyes got wide.

How did he find out where you lived. You and Jasmine lived in the middle class area but thats only because your mom left everything to you.

"Where is he?" You asked with a sigh.

"He's at the door" she said and you gave her a confused look. "He knocked and when I opened it and saw him I immediately closed the door." She said panicking slightly

You shook your head with a small smile. That was very much like her. She wasn't always great in high pressure situations so she did what she thought was the best for that moment. You knew he was probably still at the door because just looking at it made you feel uneasy.

"Jasmine get your stuff and go to the hide out" you said as you walked into your room to put a shirt on.

"What about you?" She asked watching you walk by her.

"I'm fine, I wasn't ready when he showed up last time. He won't get to me this time" you said and looked back at her. "So go get your stuff and leave out of your window" you said and she nodded.

You waited till you heard her door close before opening the front door. You looked slightly up at your brother while he looked down at you with a sinister smile.
