You and Sakusa discusssed where you wanted to go for dinner and you both threw out options until you came to an agreement about going to a ramen shop that wasn't to far from where you two were it was maybe a few blocks. As you both walked you continue to talk and you felt his hand brush against yours before he grabbed your hand. You looked over at him and he looked at you before pulling his hand away. You quickly grabbed his hand with a smile as you both continued to walk. Being around him felt nice and you were having a great time.

"So Y/n I know I've asked this before, but why is someone as pretty as you single?" He said and you let out a sigh.

"Honestly I'm not sure, I've had a few flings here and there but nothing to serious" you said taking a bite of your noodles. "I mean don't get me wrong I've been in a few scandals myself when it comes to relationships" you said seeing that it peaked his interest.

"Scandals? What kind of scandals, any I might know of?" He asked smiling at you.

"Unfortunately yeah" you said with a small laugh. "You remember that article from a while ago about Hawks having a girlfriend?" You asked and he nodded. "Yeah I was that alleged girlfriend" you said making his eyes get wide.

"You dated Hawks? Like the number 2 hero Hawks?" He asked surprised.

"No no no, we were never dating just hanging out" you said with a laugh. "We are just friends"

"You just get more and more interesting Y/n" he said sitting back in his chair, "first I find out you are good with a bow and arrow and now I find out you are friends with a Pro hero" he said making you smile. "How did you and him even become friends?"

His question made you freeze for a second. What were you supposed to say. You couldn't tell him how you met Hawks. That would put Hawks out as someone who works with the league not to mention that you do too. You had to think fast, what's another way that you could have met Hawks. Then you thought of something.

"Well you remember I told you about my mom and how she worked for Endeavor?" He asked and he nodded. "Well after she passed Hawks had just come up as a hero and was a fan of my mom and endeavor, so he had stopped me and asked if I was her daughter and thats how our very weird friendship started" you said hoping he would buy what you were trying to sell.

"That is so cool Y/n" he said with a smile leaning forward. "You are amazing" he said grabbing your hand gently.

You felt your cheeks warm up at his sudden gesture. You gently grabbed his hand making him smile. He was so kind and sweet to you. This was something you hadn't felt in awhile. You knew you still had underlying feelings for Dabi but you wanted to let those go so you could be happy. So thats what you were going to do. You both continued to talk and the time passed faster then you thought but you nor him noticed. You heard your phone vibrate but ignored it because of how much fun you were having but it just kept buzzing. Sakusa noticed but didn't say anything. It stopped buzzing for a few minutes before it started again.

"Do you want to get that?" He asked.

"No it's fine it shouldn't be anything important" you said shaking your head with a smile.

Your phone stopped going off for awhile and you just enjoyed your time with Sakusa. The ramen shop was 24 hours so you knew it was around midnight but you didn't care you just wanted to keep talking to him You wished that your phone had stopped going off but it did not. You let out a sigh.

"Just one second, you don't mind do you?" You asked

"No no of course not" he said with a smile.

You let go of his hand and grabbed your phone opening it seeing a bunch of texts from Hawks, Compress, Toga, Spinner, and Jasmine. You opened the texts and felt your heart drop

Jasmine
Y/n I know you are busy right now but we are needed at the hideout its an emergency

Compress
Hey Y/n we need you down here right now something bad happened. Hurry

Spinner
Y/n come on please answer one of us its really bad, we need you down here.

Jasmine
This is a little more then an emergency you need to get here quick.

Toga
Y/n please pick up he won't let anyone touch him
We need your help.

Hawks
Y/n I know you are on a date right now but we need you down here right now!
Dabi is hurt bad.

You felt a rush of anxiety fall over you as you read the texts.

"Is everything okay?" Sakusa asked seeing your worried expression.

"No" you said grabbing your stuff. "I'm really sorry to end this early but I need to go its an emergency" you said standing up.

"Do you want a ride?" He asked standing up with you.

"No no its fine I'm just... I'm sorry I gotta go" you said running out of the shop.

You got outside and tried to figure out the fastest was to get to the hideout and you started running. You pushed past people running as fast as you could. Why didn't you answer your phone. If you would have answered your phone you would have been there already. You felt your lungs start to hurt as you ran feeling tears start to fall from your eyes. You knew Dabi could get hurt but how could it be that bad that he won't let anyone touch him. You saw the hideout come into view running even faster. You ran up to the door and swung it open seeing the scene that was in front of you. Everyone was surrounding the bar and it was loud. The longer you looked the worse it seemed to get because there was blood everywhere and you could hear him scream. Hawks looked back and saw you start to walk over he stepped in front of you and grabbed your shoulders being able to see what you were feeling all over your face.

"Hawks move" you said trying to push past him but he wouldn't let you.

"Y/n" he said and you kept trying to move past him but his grip tightened. "Y/n wait" he said pushing you slightly.

"What?" You said feeling tears keep running down your face.

"Before I let you come help I need you to take a breath because however bad you are imagining it is, its worse" he said and you could see the blood on his arms. "I need you to be strong okay you can't let him see that you are scared because if he sees you scared he will be scared okay? I need you to be as strong a you can be. Can you be strong for him?"He said and you nodded.
