Chapter 24

"You are M/ns daughter" Midnight said as you just looked at her.

You didn't say anything but you knew the longer you stayed here the closer the rest of the hero's would be getting here if they were even coming. It had been awhile since someone has figured out who your mom was. You and your mom did look the same facial wise, your mom was a bit taller but you had been told by Jasmine that you and your mom had the same attitude.

"I don't know how I didn't figure it out sooner" she said walking closer to you. "You look just like her you know, its almost uncanny." She said touching your face.

"Don't touch me" you said pushing her hand away from you.

"You have the same attitude to" she said with a scoff. "My only question is why join the league?" She said pushing your hair behind your shoulder.

"Why do you care it's not like you cared about her" you said feeling you emotions start bubble.

"I cared about your mom, I was devastated when she passed" she said and you rolled your eyes. "But I also know that she wouldn't like what your doing with your life" said said looking you up and down, "she would be very disappointed"

When she said that you didn't think about your next move. You brought your hand back and slapped her. Her head swung to the side and she grabbed her face.

"You do not get to talk about my mother" you said and she looked at you "ever. And if you ever talk about her again" you said grabbing her by the neck and slamming her into the metal self that was next to you. "I will come for your fucking throat"

You were only a few inches away from her face and she just looked at you out of breath as you slammed her into the shelf so hard in knocked the wind out of her. You let go of her neck and walked out of the room. You ran down the stairs and made your way to the exit. When you walked out the door you saw Dabi and Toga standing above Present Mic who was tied up.

"You found it" Toga said coming up to you and hugging you. "Now lets go" she said and started going towards the gate.

You started to follow her when you turned around and went back toward the building.

"What are you doing?" Dabi asked and you turned to him and smiled.

"Why not cause a scene" you said pulling the three arrows that were still in the generator box out.

The moment you did the gate alarm went off and you all ran. You climbed up a building and started running back to the hideout finding Jasmine near by. As you all ran you heard the police sirens go off and you all made sure to stay behind the buildings. When you all got far enough away from U.A. You all started to walk. You walked next to Jasmine and you winced when you moved the hand you caught Midnights whip with. You did your best to ignore it. You all got to the hideout and you sat down at the bar.

"Oh my god what happed to your hand?!" Jasmine said grabbing your hand, Toga coming over to you and Dabi looking up from the glass he had.

"Nothing, I'm fine" you said pulling your hand away from her.

"Y/n that looks bad" she said grabbing your hand again.

While she looked at your hand so did you. You hadn't looked at it until now but she was right it was bad. It was across your whole palm and a few of your fingers were cut as well. There was no doubt that it was bleeding at some point as you had blood all over your hand. You felt tingling but it didn't hurt but the cut across your palm was deep.

"Damn I guess your right" you said looking at her. "I'll go clean it up right now" you said getting up and walking to the back.

"Do you want help?" Jasmine asked.

"No I'll be fine" you said turning the corner.

You walked into the back room and got the first aid kit and sat it down next to the sink. You hopped on the counter and opened the first aid kit. You looked through it and found all the stuff you needed. You turned on the water and took a deep breath. You put your hand under the water and you immediately felt pain. You felt your head get light and you tried to take a deep breath. After most of the blood was rinsed off you took your hand out from under the water. You wet a wash cloth and turned off the water. You went to wipe off the rest and you were shaking.

"You know you can ask for help" Dabi said walking in the room.

"I don't need help" you said looking up at him.

"Give me the rag" he said taking it from you. "Okay you need to take a deep breath" he said taking off his jacket then his shirt. "And bite down on this so you don't scream." He said handing you his shirt.

You nodded and put a bit of his shirt in your mouth. He gently grabbed your hand and started to gently clean off the rest of the blood. Even if he was was being gentle it hurt like hell. You bit down on his shirt and stomped your felt on the table you were sitting on like a kid. When he was done he grabbed some peroxide and put it on your hand and you let out a muffled scream.

"I know, I'm sorry" he said then patting your hand dry with a different rag.

"Are we done?" You asked after you took his shirt out of your mouth.

He nodded and you leaned your head back. You were sweating and still shaking. He felt you shaking and started to grab some bandages.

"Do you want stitches?" He asked looking over at you.

"Not really but if i need them you should give me some" you said still trying regulate your breathing.

He nodded and grabbed the needle and thread.

"Come here" he said getting you off the table.

He sat you down on the floor and then sat behind you. Pulling your back to his chest.

"What are you doing?" You asked and he didn't respond.

"This is gonna hurt so I'll talk you through it" he said grabbing your hand.

You nodded and he could feel you start to freak out. He pulled you closer to him and put his chin on your shoulder. You took a beep breath and closed your eyes.

"Okay I need you to take a deep breath in" he said and you did, "and now let it out"

As you let out your breath you felt the needle poke through your skin.

"Son of a bitch!" You yelled .

"I know it hurts just try to breath" he said kissing your shoulder.

This went on of about 30 minutes because you couldn't stop squirming. You felt tears run down your face and every time he would tell you to breath in you would take a shaky breath and he would tell you it was okay and that it was almost over. Even though you had been treating him like shit he was still there for you.
