Part 3

The two weeks pass by quickly and Blaine gets along with his co workers too. It's like he really arrived, knowing where everything is for sure and how the other peoples names are.

But today is the day he'll meet Kurts New York friends. Finn told him already a little something.

Rachel is Finns boyfriend also since high school and since Finn knows that Blaine is very into music, broadway and the arts he told her that Rachel and he won't run out of topics to talk about.

Blaine already feels that he and Rachel will get along very well. Why should that be any different with Justin? They'll get along well too.

When the two best friends arrive, they go immediatly to Kurt. Both just went home to the Hudson-Hummel house to put their stuff away and fresh up.

Blaine on the other hand is pretty busy with another patient but in an hour when he has to check up on Kurt again he'll meet the visitors from New York.

Blaine gets along well with the tall young man with fair skin, blue eyes and ginger hair who introduced himself as Ron Weasley before saying that he's Justin Hicks.

But him and Rachel get along better than expected. They may even can be friends. Who knows?

In the noon Adam comes to visit and Rachel fast realizes that three visitors in a room may be a bit to much so she excuses herself and leaves. Instead she finds Blaine in the cafeteria, taking his break, and joins him.

The whole break they talked about the arts and their love for it and everything to do with it. Of course the brunette girl remembers the former lead singer of the Warblers. He was her biggest competition back then.

The day wen't well and so should the others.

Three days ago the New York visit landed and thday Justin comes alone. That's okay too because today Racheland Finn want to do something together.

Long-distant relationships are possible but more difficult if you spend so much time in a hospital next to a person close to you. Not very romantic. Instead Finn takes Rachel out in the park for a nice picnic and a day just for them.

While Rachel is busy with some relationship quality time, Justin decides to go to the hospital alone and visit his best friend. In the room of the boy he meets Adam who had the same idea as Justin had. Together they sit on chairs next to the bed and chat a bit while spending the comatose boy company.

Blaine is busy today. It's one of the days where every patient has special wishes and extraordinary complaints. That's why the young nurse runs around without a break yet.

But now he has to check on Kurt. It's tragic that he's in a coma ut Blaine is happy to go to him because at least the boy doesn't have extra wishes. Kurt is Blaines chance to get a little break, just enough to take a few deep breaths.

The male nurse opens the door and sees that he won't be alone with the boy "Sorry. I didn't want to interrupt. I just check on Kurt fast, then I'll be gone again" he excuses but oone of the boys, Adam, shakes his head "Don't be sorry. That's your job and you're not interrupting".

Blaine nods and checks on Kurt, without taking his time for a little break. 5 minutes later he goes out agian and back to his other, today very annoying, patients.

When he finally has his break Blaine goes to Kurt one more time. He should've 15 minutes ago but Mr. Miller in room 386 kept him busy for quite a while.

But now he goes to Kurts room, seeing the door standing ajar. That's why Blaine hears something he better didn't. He wasn't eavesdropping but things like that happen if you let the door open.

"I don't get why we have to be a secret" Blaine hears a voice and another one answering "Because officially I'm still with him". "Break up with him. It's not that he could care. He's not even awake" the first voice says. 

"When we started this you said you're okay with waiting until I can tell him" the second voice answers. "But I don't want to wait anymore. Maybe he never wakes up again. What's then? Adam I love you and I want everyone to know" the voice says and Adam answers "I love you too Justin. Just a bit longer okay?".

Then there's silence and Blaine ses through the bit he can see that the two boys are kissing. Adam is cheating on Kurt with his best freidn in his presence. Maybe not mentally presence, who knows, but for sure physically presence. Unbelievable.

Quickly Blaine turns around and goes to the cafeteria. He'll check on Kurt after his break and takes some time to think about what he just witnessed. Should he tell someone? No better not. But he has to think about it the whole time.

He hardly eats something in his break and is relieved to see both boys leaving in the middle of his break.

After his break he can take his time for Kuer, no other people disturbing him and more silence to think.

And so after his break Blaine goes to Kurt. He only needs 5 minutes but Blaine could rarely motivate himself to go back to the other patients. Instead he sits down on the stool next to the bed and mumbles "It's a pity that you can't do anything against the things happening around you if you really notice them".

"If you really notice something, what would you do? I wish I could help you or even free you from that. If you ever wake up your life will be completely upside down but I will help you with everything as good as I can" he continues.

Just as Blaine wants to say more his wprk phone beeps, Mr. Miller is calling for him. "I have to go now but I come back later and you rest. Maybe one day you will wake up" and with that Blaine has to leave.

Another week passes and Blaine didn't talked to someone about what he heared. Not even with Kurt because if he really notices something that would only cause him more pain.

He's also pretty sure that the fling couple talks and kisses more in Kurts room like they don't care about him and Blaine doesn't want to add on that by talking about it.

But else nothing happened. Everything is as always and Blaine really feels at home with his new job.

Today again is a very busy day and Blaine is grateful for the few times he can breath in Kurts room while checking on him. He didn't even had time for a propper break yet. But one more time checking on Kurt and he can finally take his break.

As every few hours he repositions Kurt and checks his vitals but this time something odd happens.
