Part 30

"Alec?" he asks and the man turns around "Hey Blaine. Didn't recognized you with the curls". "Yeah I was sick of too much gel and I like the extra time I have without gelling my hair" Blaine laughs, running a hand through his lose curls.

Then Blaine tuens to Kurt and introduces "Kurt this is Alec. We went to nurse school together and were together in the beginning of it all". At that memory the old friends laugh before Blaine continues "Alec this is Kurt. My boyfriend".

"Nice to meet you Kurt" Alec says, extending his hand for Kurt to shake, which he reluctantly does. Then he clears his throat and asks "So you two were a couple once if I got that right?". Alec laughs, scratching the back of his head "Yeah. For about a month or so but we realized that we're better off as friends so we talked about it and went back to just being friends".

Kurt nods, eying the man. He's really tall, chocolate skin, short black hair and dark brown eyes. He doesn't look bad so Kurt has to admit but Blaine is with him now and- Stop. Wait. Is that jealousy? Is Kurt really jealous about a one month relationship of Blaine and another handsome man from about three years or so ago? No! Or maybe?

"How are you doing now that training is finished?" Blaine asks his old friend who answers "Well, I have a girlfriend now, since about two months now and I warted working in a retirement house".

"Hreat. Hey, Kurts step-mom works in a retirement house as well. Carol Hudson" Blaine says and Alecs eyes open wide "No way! She was my mentor the first days until I was orientated and got to know everything. She still helps me if I need help with something. I like her". "Yeah me too" Blaine says and laughs.

"And how are you doing?" Now Alec asks and Blaine answers "Can't complain. Got a job in the hospital and I sticked to the long term patient thing. My long term patient left the hospital not long ago actually". Smiling he looks to Kurt and then back to Alec "And since there isn't any other long term patient at the moment I'm just a normal nurse until there is one again".

"Sounds awesome. Blaine I have to go now. Sina, my girlfriend, is waiting for me but we should catch up soon" Alec says and takes out his phone " I have a new number but just save your contact in my phone and I'll text you". "Sure" Blaine says and takes Alecs phone.

The two friends hig goodbye and then their ways part again and Kurt and Blaine continue their walk, slowly heading in the direction of home.

"You never mentioned another relationship besides the one who ghosted you" Kurt says after a while of silently walking next to each other. Blaine shrugs "It never really was a topic.

Besides Alec and I realized that we're better as friends because in this whole month we kissed twice or so and just cuddled or something. We didn't wanted to do much more. There were no spark of you know what I mean so we stayed friends".

"And when you two want to catch up. I guess you'll meet again for that. Just you two? Or are Sina and I allowed to come too?" Kurt asks and Blaine stops in his track "Kurt Hummel don't tell me you're jealous".

He chuckles while Kurt defends himself "No! I'm just curious". "Sure" the curly haired man says, kissing Kurt on the cheek "Now let's go home. I slowly need to sit again". Kurt sighs but nods "Okay".

At home Blaine goes upstairs to Kurts room to get a pain killer before he sits down and Kurt meanwhile joins Carol in the kitchen, helping her with dinner preparations.

"Carol?" Kurt asks and the woman asks back "Yes sweetie?". "Do you know and Alec? I don't know his last name. Young nurse, tall with chocolate skin and black hair?" the young man asks and Carol nods "Oh yes. He's really good. Nice man, always friendly and kind to everyone".

"Why?" Carol now asks and Kurt tells "He went to nurse school with Blaine and they were in a relationship. We ran into him today and I just wanted to know how he is". "Honey you're jealous" Carol says and Kurt nods frustrated "And I shouldn't be. But I am".

"Can't you just tell me a little bit about Alec?" he asks but Carol shakes her head and points behind Kurt. The young man turns around and sees Blaine standing in the door frame with a raised eyebrow "Not jealous hm?".
