The day passes with Kurt and Blaine spending time together and Blaine distracting Kurt, making him laugh and smile and think about something else than the panic he had at the airport and the overwhelming emotion when he got to Blaines apartment.

"I go showering okay?" Kurt says after dinner, kissing Blaines cheek. The older man nods, putting everything in the dishwasher before going to his room.

He has some time while Kurt showers and he has some feelings that needs relief. Before Kurt came he sat on the couch, pitying himself for being alone again. Then Kurt came, telling him about the panic and Blaine should've known.

He learned stuff like that in nurse school. Especially since he wanted to focus on long term patients. Most of them had a trauma so Kurt is no exception.

That's why Blaine should've known. Should've checked in with him. Making sure if Kurt is okay or not. And Kurt wasn't okay. They talked about it last night and Blaine stull went to the airport with him, said goodbye and left.

In his room Blaine puts on his gloves and punches the punchign bag, his own faces on it in this time. He should've known Kurt isn't ready. Instead he told him that he'll be fine.

He didn't noticed that Kurt came back from the shower. Only when Kurt stands next to the punching bag, holding it so Blaine couldn't hit that hard anymore. He knows that there's something in Blaines mind only by the way Blaine punches the bag.

"Honey stop punching. Talk to me" he says softly. "It's no use. I'd repeat myself anyway" Blaine answers while keep punching the bag "Hands off the punching bag Kurt". "No. I don't care if you repeat yourself but please talk to me" the younger says.

"I should've known" Blaine says, not stopping to punch, "I learned all about trauma in training". "I should've known that you're not okay. I should've known" the curly haired man says with one last punch before stumbling back and sitting down on his bed.

Kurt sits down next to him, wrapping an arm around him. "Blaine I didn't told you because I thought somehow I'll get it. So if you noticed I probably denied until the last moment and wouldn't have accepted help. So it would've led to this moment anyway" he says.

"It's just... that even tho this would've happened anyways I should've read the signs like I learned them and then you stood in front of my door, crying and seeing you like that broke my heart" the older man says hiding his face in the gloves.

"Everyone can oversee signs and you're still learning. Now let's take off these gloves okay?" Kurt says, already aiming for one of Blaines hands. The older just nods, letting Kurt take his gloves off while starring at his hands.

"It broke your heart to see me crying but did you realized how much you helped me?" Kurt says once the gloves are off. "By taking you inside?" Blaine mumbles but the other man shakes his head.

"Not only. You took me inside, you held me, you calmed me, you called Rachel and dad for me and you made sure I'm comfortable. And you made me laugh again. You're going to hard on yourself honey" the younger says, hugging his boyfriend.

"Well, that's a part of me. I wanted to box anyway. On the couch on the way and box in the evening to let my feelings out. I did it now anyway and I'm feeling somewhat better so I think I hop under the shower" the older says and stands up.

Before he goes he turns around "Since your clothes are in New York feel free to use whatever from my stuff". Then he goes into the bathroom.

The warm water helps Blaine to calm down from everything that came up a moment ago. Kurt is okay now so he can stay a bit longer under the shower.

Kurt changes from his old clothes that he put on again after the shower in something to sleep in before he sits down on the bed again. Next to him are still Blaines blue gloves. He should put them away.

But he could also...

Yes he'll use them. Blaine won't mind and right now he jsut needs it. The panic vanished and Blaine took care of him feeling comfortable and not sad anymore. But he's angry.

He's angry at himself for panicking. Angry for not getting into that plane. Angry for having a trauma and let it affect him and angry about the plane crash almost two years ago which lead to this situation in first place.

And for being angry maybe some boxing could help. So Kurt Puts on Blaines gloves and stands up to go to the punching bag. By now he knows his strenghts quite well.

He doesn't realize when the water stops or when Blaine comes out of the bathroom, changed and with his curls still wet.

He also doesn't realized how much into the boxing he is, punching furiously and angry with tears rolling down his cheeks.

When Blaine sees in which state his boyfriend is, it once agian breaks his heart but still he reacts fast and goes to his boyfriend "Angel? Kurt, hey Kurt". But the younger man is in his own world, empty eyes on the punching bag. He's in a whole different world. A place Blaine often were and Sebastian had to pull him out of.

"Kurt hey" Blaine says, approaching the other man but of course no reaction. So he grabs Kurt from behimd, pulling him away from the punching bag and towards the bed.

It takes a few punches in the air and partly hitting Blaine until Kurt realizes that someone pulled him away but when he realizes he stops punching, his hands hanging on his sides like they're too heavy to lift. Instead he cries even more than he did while punching.

Blaine sits them down on the bed, letting Kurt cry while taking off his gloves. Kurt still isn't really back in reality so Blaine just let's him cry while taking care of him.

He puts the gloves aside, taking Kurts hands, kissing them before pulling Kurt to his chest and whispering reassuring phrases to hopefully help him calm down.

It takes some time but Kurt eventually calms down, looking at Blaine, the emptyness gone. "Hey" he mumbles and Blaine answers "Hey Angel". The older man cups Kurts cheeks, wiping some of the last tears away with his thumb.

"Okay you're back in reality. Are you okay?" th older asks and the younger answers "Yeah. Thank you for pulling me out of that place". "Of course angel. Now let's go to bed. This day was emotiomal for the both of us and it's late already" Blaine proposes.

"You lay down and I put the gloves away" he then says, kissing his boyfriend before standing up and putting the gloves back to their usual place.

When he turns back around he sees Kurt, cuddled into the blanket and almost half asleep. Blaine smiles softly and lays down next to him, turning off the light. "Goodnight Angel. I love you" Blaine says, cuddling closer to his boyfriend and taking him in his arms. "Love you too" Kurt mumbles, holding onto the other man and falling asleep.
