Part 35

Two days later Blaine and the Hudson-Hummel brothers are at the airport to pick Santana and Rachel up.

Rachel immediatly jumps in Finns arms, hugging her boyfriend tightly and kissing him.

Santana meanwhile goes to Kurt, hugging her old friend and greeting him with "Long time no see Lady Hummel". "You too Satan" Kurt greets back before he introduces "Blaine this is Santana. Santana this is Blaine. My boyfriend".

"Bit small for you Hummel, but else he's fine" the girl says before extending her hand for Blaine "So you're the one I'll be staying at?". "Yes" Blaine says, shaking her hand "Hi".

When everyone said hello to everyone the group goes out to the cars. "So we go home and meet at Lima Bean again in an hour right?" Finn asks and Blaine nods. They agreed that Finn takes Rachel home and Blaine Santana and that Kurt could just go with Blaine because he could choose anyway.

"Nice apartment hobbit" Santana says as she looks around, not seeing how Blaines eyes open wide in surpriaseand Kurt shows him a reassuring smile. "Thanks" Blaine says and leads his guest to Sebastians room "This will be your room. Mine is jsut across from yours and here is the bathroom". "You already passed the kitchen and living room" he continues after showing her the bathroom.

"Santana how about you fresh up and unpack and Blaine and I are in the living room. In an hour we have to leave again" Kurt says and pulls Blaine in the living room without waiting for an answer from Santana.

Both sit down on the couch and with a sigh Blaine leans against Kurt. The younger man laughs "Don't worry. She has nicknames for everyone. She's a bit special but I'm sure you get along well. Also from one time to another I could stay here over too just to make sure that you survive the night".

"Maybe but it's also very okay if you want to spend time with your family on christmas. It's christmas after all and you all love it and I'm sure Santana and I won't kill each other" Blaine says, giving Kurt a kiss. "Okay" Kurt answers smiling.

Then Blaine turns on the tv, a random channel playing while Kurt and Blaine talk, cuddle and share kisses while waiting for Santana until it's time to go.

Santana and Blaine get along well, talking about the most crazy things to pass the little time they spend in the apartment.

Before they know it's christmas time and everyone sits at dinner table in the Hudson-Hummel house, eating a delicious meal that Carol prepared with so much love as always.

Later that evening it's time for presents and Kurt exitedly says "Blaine you open yours first, even tho it's not hard to guess what it is from the shape of it". "Okay" Blaine laughs "Which one is mine?". "The one on the left" Kurt answers and when Blaine turns his face to said place his jaw drops.

"You didn't" he mumbles and Kurt answers "I did. We all put some money for it together". He smiles widely at Blaines stunned expression "Don't you wanna open it?See if it's not just a prank?". "You wouldn't play with my heart like that" Blaine answers laughing.

He bends down to the guitar case with a yellow ribbon, opens it and spots a beautiful black guitar inside of it. With a tuner and a plectrum. So it's definitly not a prank.

"Guys it's... thank you" Blaine says, closing the case again. "You know that means you're playing something for us later right?" Kurt makes sure and everyone agrees laughing.

Blaine laughs too before throwing himself in Kurts arms "Thank you Angel. I love you". "Your skill is no use if you don't have a guitar. Now you have one" Kurt whispers. He breaks the hug and kisses Blaine before answering "I love you too".

Next Rachel opens her present from Finn, a new song book that adds to her song collection for the next semester at NYADA.

The gift exchange goes on and on until everyone had their presents beside Kurt who's the last one to get his present from Blaine.

When it's time for unpack his present Blaine gives him a simple envelope "It's just a little something". Smiling Kurt takes the envelope from Blaine and opens it.

"A road trip?" Kurt asks with a smile because that's the only thing written on a piece of paper in the envelope. "I got the idea when Hunter, Sebastian and I went to Dalton and saw the Warblers.

I thoguth it would be nice if we watch a competition, old times will, drive there with my car, have dinner somewhere nice after. We could drive around for a while or do whatever we want. It's still a bit more than a month but I thought it would be nice" Blaine says.

"I love it. And I'm really looking forward to this" the younger man says and kisses his boyfriend. It might doesn't look like much but one day with Blaine, driving around with the car, watching a competition and eat a delicious dinner sounds like a perfect day.

That evening when Santana and Blaine decide to go home again Kurt packs some basic stuff and comes with them to spend the night with Blaine.

Like promised Blaine played some songs, singing solos, duets with Kurt or a group song with Kurt, Finn, Rachel and Santana. Over all it was a very nice evening, full of music.

Santana just wipes off her make up and changes before saying goodbye to the two men and going to bed.

Blaine and Kurt stay up a bit longer, laying in Blaines bed and cuddling. Kurts head on Blaines chest and arm lazily wrapped around his stomach  and Blaines arm around Kurt and the other hand intertwined with Kurts.

It's quiet. For the first time this evening it's quiet. Just them, back in their own little bubble.

"I still can't believe you bought me a guitar" Blaine mumbles into Kurts hair. The other man smiles into his chest "After you told me that you can play but never had one yourself I told my family. We put some money together and when I saw this black one I just knew that it was right and I had to buy it".

"Thank you so much angel. If I would've known I would've got you something bigger or something" Blaine says but the other man shakes his head "Stop that. Honey I love your present okay? It's a original idea and a day with you sounds just perfect. I'm really looking forward to it".

From then on it doesn't take long for both to fall asleep with a little smile on their faces.
