Part 56

The morning Kurt and Blaine take their packed bags and drive to the airport.

"Are you okay?" Blaine asks, taking Kurts free hand in his. "Yes. Yes I am" Kurt answers with a nod. He's a little nervous but still okay.

Slowly and step by step Kurt and Blaine go to the gate. Their hands never parting and Kurt doesn't start to panic. He's still nervous but there's no panic.

It talkes them longer than anyone else to get to the gate but they arrive 30 minutes before the boarding starts. Time to sit down a little.

"Still okay?" the curly haired man asks and the other man nods "Surprisingly yes". He smiles and leans over to kiss his boyfriend on the cheek.

Then it's finally boarding time and Kurt and Blaine sit down on their seats in the plane. Kurt can't believe it. He did it. He's in a plane. Now he just has to stay seated until they landed again without panicking.

He holds Blaines hand and doesn't let go. But Blaine doesn't mind. He would never. While waiting the last minutes before boardingKurt took a little pill. He forgot the way too long and complicated name of it but Professor Smith suggested it and said it'll help his nerves.

Kurt is glad to have Blaine. When the plane starts and lands and whenever there was an airhole and Kurt tenses Blaine helps him ease his mind and nerves again.

He talks calmly with him, tries to distract him and uses some skills that Professor Smith showed them before. It actually worked ver well and even tho Kurt is glad to stand on the ground again he's incredibly happy that he did it.

Happily he hugs Blaine who holds him tight as well. "I did it" Kurt whispers happily and Blaine answers "Yes you did it angel". He separates just enough to kiss Kurt who kisses him back.

"I'm so proud of you" he says and Kurt answers "Honestly I think without you I would've freaked out and turned around at the gate". "That's okay. You made a process and at some point you can fly alone again. But it's a progress" the young nurse says.

Smiling and their hands intertwined the couple leaves the airport. "So this is New York" Blaine mumbles impressed and Kurt next to him chuckles "Yes and I will show you around while we're here".

But that'll come later because first they take the subway to get to the loft and Blaine can tell that Kurt is really ecited. It feels like in old times. Will his room still be the same? It's not onld times. He has Blaine now. It's better.

Kurt and Blaine get welcomed happily by Rachel and even Santana is happy, of course only showing it by being her sassy self.

First Kurt shows Blaine the loft and his room. It really didn't changed a bit. Rachel leftit like it was and kept it clean so it doesn't look dirty when he can come back one day. It really looks like he left it two years ago.

The couple unpacks and the girls prepare a little snack to eat before they go out and show Blaine New York and places that are special to them.

All noon the friends are outside and in the early afternoon Santana as heave her friends to get to her shift at work in time. But they'll see her later that evening still.

Together with Santana they showed Blaine all the must it stations as a tourist in New York but now they want to show him one special place.

"So this is NYADA?" Blaine asks, looking at the massive building. "Yeah" Kurt answers with a soft smile. He missed this place. "Kurt aer you sure you want to go im? You probably bring a lot of attention to you" Rachel asks btu the questioned man is sure.

Together they show Blaine the classrooms, talking to teachers and students they know and yes Kurt did tuen a lot of attention to himself. Everyone wanted to know how he feels, if he's healthy again and if he will be back soon. Luckily they didn't met Justin in a hallway or so.

Kurt answers everything. The way he trained to get better, his intern year at McKinley and that he'll come back in less than a year.

He tells the teachers who ask about his intern year and his experiences and that he still has to work on his ability to danc enormal again but everything will be fine.

In the evening the friends have dinner at the spotlight diner where Santaa and her girlfriend work. Santana takes her break to eat together with her friends, enjoying the time she has with her friends here.

The week passes quickly and Kurt and Blaine have to fly back to Lima. But very soon Rachel will follow and visit them.

The flight back is pretty much like the first one and Kurt is again very happy he did it. He'll definitly tell Professor Smith about everything the next time they have an appointment.

Now that Blaines free days are over he quickly falls back in routine and Kurt with him. And when the holidays are over both find back in their old routine with the little difference that they are now living together.

They both go to work, come home, cook togheter and watch movies or something. Once a month Kurt meets up with Professor Smith and after that he and Blaine eat dinner at Huntbastians.

They not only do that but also still go on double dates with their best friends and Kurt tells Hunter new stuff from NYADA if there's something. Maybe, just maybe, Hutner will overthink his carrer choice again.

Kurt and Blaine have so much routine in their lives that Finn calls them an old married couple but they don't think so. They are happy, still go on datesand support each other with everything. Also they're not married. Yet.
