Part 54

When Kurt comes into the choir room Charlotte pulls him into the teachers office where they first talked in private last week.

"Thank you Kurt. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And thank Blaine too okay?" she starts the conversation and Kurt laughs "I think everything went well then?". "Yes or even better. It was amazing.

The date was perfect and she's my girlfriend nwo. That's why I thought I make it quick and came out to my parents yesterday. They are really supportive about it and already said that they want to get to know my girlfriend.

Thank you and Blaine for helping me. Thanks to you two I found the strenght and encouragement to do this. Coming out and asking my dreamgirl out. That's why I want to thank you. Maxime, my girlfriend, and I want to invite you and Blaine for coffee this weekend. If you're free and want to come of yourse" the young teen tells.

"I ask Blaine if he's free but I think he is so consider us in and thank you for inviting us" Kurt says but the girl waves it off "That's the least I or we can do after you helped. So thank you and I don't know if it's allowed but can I hug you?".

"It's okay and I'm happy to help so come here and give me a hug" Kurt says. He doesn't sees himself as a teacher so sometimes he's surprised by the respect he gets. Besides back then they also hugged Will and he hugged them. That's glee.

Since Kurt eats with his family today and Blaine meets his friends from nurse school again Kurt only gets to tell his boyfriend the news when they talk on the phone later that evening.

"Guess what Charlotte told me today at school" Kurt says as he lays on his bed, phone next to him and Blaine on speaker. "What?" the other man asks while changing into comfortable clothes.

He came home just a few minutes ago and immediatly called Kurt, the man now on speaker too so Blaine can get changed and ready for bed while they talk. While Kurt tells him about his talk with Charlotte and his day at school today Blaine brushes his teeth and listens to his boyfriend.

"That's great news angel. Of course I have time for a coffee on Saturday. As if I ever would say no to coffee" Blaine says laughing, goes back to his room and throws himself on his bed. "Of course" Kurt laughs "I should've known. Why would Blaine Devon Anderson the boyfriend with an unhealthy coffee addiction say no to a coffee".

"Coffee is made from coffee beans and beans are vegetables so I'm basically drinking vegetables. And vegetables aren't unhealthy. See? I don't have an unhealthy coffee addiction" Blaine tells, making Kurt laugh "Honey how much did you drink?".

"Nothing. I was the one who drove Alec and Max home. That's just how my sorber, tired, coffee loving brain works" Blaine says and yawns. "Should we hang up so you can sleep?" Kurt asks but Blaine answers "No. We didn't had time for each other all day so I want to hear your voice and not just hang up after talkign a few minutes".

"Okay. I think I have an idea" Kurt says "Get comfortable in bed, under the blanket and turn off the lights". He waits a moment, hearing Blaine shift and then ask "And now?". "Now close your eyes and relax" Kurt says and then starts humming twinkle twinkle little star like Blaine always does for him if he can't sleep.

He hums for some minutes until he hears Blaines soft snorring on the other side of the phone. He smiles at the sound and whispers "Good night honey". Then he ends the call and goes to sleep himself.

When Kurt and Blaine arrive at Lima Beans on Saturday the two girls already wait at a table, holding hands, looking at each other with heart eyes.

Smiling Blaine takes Kurts hand, presses a kiss on his cheek and says "You go and say hello and I get us our drink. You take the same as always right?". "Yes thanks honey" Kurt answers and lets go of Blaines hand again.

A few minutes later Blaine comes with his and Kurts drinks, putting them down on the table. Before he could sit down himself Charlotte jumps up and hugs him. "Thank you for supporting me last Saturday" she says and sits down again.

"Pleasure" Blaine answers and sits down too "I had no one to support me before my coming out and if I can help others to feel better than I'm happy to help". He smiles at the two girls, then at Kurt and then takes his mug. Kurt didn't let him have a coffee before coming here.

First they talk about last weekend and the girls date and then about how they will behave in the near future. Maxime and Charlotte kept it low key at school for that last week and now that the summer started they do whatever they want. When the holidays are over they go to school as a couple but hopefully they don't have to face bullies.

"How did you two got to know each other?" Charlotte asks after some time and Maxime adds "And how did you got together?". On this questions both Kurt and Blaine blush. It's a complicated story.

"Charlotte already knows that but for Maxime to know, I had an accident two years ago. A plane crash and I was in a coma for a year" Kurt tells. By now he doesn't have a problem anymore to talk about this topic.

"That's why you didn't come to Nationals with us right?" Charlotte asks and adds "We still dedicated the songs to you and Blaine and Finn because you all helped Mr Schue and us on our jurney". "Yeah. I have my problems with planes since then but I'm working on that".

"Anyway I was in a coma for a bit more than a year and I had to learn everything new like walking and moving in general and eating and stuff" he tells then.

"I finished nurse school, specialized on long term patients and got  an offer from a hospital to take care of a comatose patient and support his family emotionally" Blaine then says.

The eyes of the two girls grow wide "That was Kurt". "Yes. I started about two month before he woke up and since he was my long term patient I also helped him with everything until he could do it alone again and I helped him to learn it again" Blaine says.

"That meant spending a lot of time together and was sometimes also very intimate as he had to helped me with literally everything" Kurt says laughing quietly.

"We started becoming friends quickly because being only nurse and patient felt strange and we got along really well" he continues and Blaine nods "But then I catched feelings for him and he returned them at some point".

"That's when I asked him out and we got together. I was still a patient but could do everything well again so I just needed to work on my walking a bit more. By now I only need to work on my dancing skills again but everything else is fine" Kurt tells.

"He was in hospital for quite some month but now, one year later no one would really notice that something happened in first place but yeah... that's how we got together. Strange story I know" Blaine says, blushing again. Kurt blushes too but still he takes Blaines hand and squeezes it. They teally went through a lot together but it's their story.

"It's not strange" Charlotte says "It's romantic. Like in a movie". "Or in a book" Maxime adds smiling "It's a cute story".

The two couples talk a bit more about how everyone plans to spend the summer before Kurt and Blaine have to go. It's already noon and later the same day they go on a double date with Huntbastian.
