Una had become basically the only person you spoke to in the coming weeks. With Spencer still working away and your family still being back in London, it was nice to have a friend to help you plan the wedding, especially a friend who was an event planner and pretty much specialised in weddings. She got you into all the nicest boutiques for wedding dresses, cakes, flower arrangements and a hundred other things you hadn't even thought of before.

"Have you thought about about an ice sculpture?" Una asked excitedly, her hands spreading like she was presenting it to you in person. You laughed and shook your head slightly,

"Una, what part about Spencer and I, screams 'ice sculpture'?"

"What?! It's classy, elegant, and you're getting married in December, terrible idea by the way, so it won't melt as quick!"

"No, Una, we are not having an ice sculpture." You confirmed and watched Una's face deflate slightly.

You walked down the street a little further and eventually came upon a small door to a townhouse which Una opened for you, "After you m'lady." She said sarcastically, bowing as you did and you rolled your eyes at her.

The hallway to the house was lined with magnificent paintings, all placed tastefully and in the centre of the entrance hall was a large globe, what looked like it came out of Shakespeare's drawing room. It was incredible, "Oh Ms Burke!" A well spoken lady shouted from the top of the stairs as she floated down them so gracefully you thought you were in a fairytale, "Is this the soon to be Doctor Reid?" She smiled and grabbed one of Una's hands, and one of yours,

"Yes, this is Doctor Y/N Y/LN, soon to be Reid." Una beamed as the lady turned her attention to you. She had grey hair, but not grey and ageing, more of a silver, like it had been died to be that way, but she must have been in her 60s. These locks were tied back in some sort of updo with an ornate clip holding it all back and she had a bold red lipstick on that stood out perfectly against her white pantsuit.

"Y/N, this is Mirabelle Augustine, the best wedding dress designer in the world if you ask me." Una clarified and you nodded slightly,

"Oh Una, you flatter me. Just in the states according to vogue but what do they know." Mirabelle winked at me,

"It's lovely to meet you Ms Augustine-"

"Mira! Dear, always Mira. Ms Augustine was my aunt. Wicked old bat if you ask me," You nodded as Mira pulled you up the stairs, "now, come! Come! I made sure all of my best things were laid out in the blanc suite." Mira suddenly came to a stop, causing all 3 of you to halt, "You are wearing white, aren't you darling?"

"Yes, Mira."

"Oh thank the heavens!" Mira resumed walking and you followed, "Call me old but I am so not one for all of these modern brides getting married in pink! And blue! And Green, for Christ's sake. You know, just yesterday a lovely woman came in with her fiancee and one lady wanted to wear fluorescent orange and the other fluorescent green! I honestly didn't know what to do with myself. Fluorescent wedding dresses." Mira tutted and shook her head, "Complete abomination."

You laughed slightly under your breath and then turned to Una who looked just as offended as Mira which only made you laugh more.

Mira lead you to one of the fanciest rooms you had ever been in. It was white and grey all over with dresses on every wall except one which had a stunning bay window that overlooked capital hill.

"Now, Y/N, you can try on absolutely anything you like. Every dress, or suit or whatever, can be tailored and edited just ask. Good thing your friends with my lovely Una here, she gets a mightly discount for the business she gets me. The changing room is just through that door there," She pointed to a wooden door that stood out against the white walls, "and Una and I shall wait here for you to give us a wonderful fashion show." She gleamed while Una squeaked with excitement.
