The following morning you and Spencer woke up still wrapped in each other's arms to the sounds of the ocean, birds squawking and children playing in the sand. Spencer was still coming to and you looked at the man next to you with loving eyes, his chiselled jawline at the perfect angle and long lashed ticking his cheeks.

"Are you staring at me?" He said, his eyes still closed and barely moving a muscle except for the corners of his mouth turning up slightly.

"Maybe." You replied, and Spencer opened his eyes slowly and pulled you in tighter,

"What do you want to do today?"

"I'm pretty good right here."

"Mhm, me too. But what about after?"

"Beach? But not for too long, I hate sand."

"Oh me too. I think an hour and a half will be suffice."

"Perfect." You sighed and closed your eyes once more as Spencer embraced you and you laid in each other's arms for a little while longer.

Eventually, the pair of you got up and you had a shower while Spencer made breakfast. You went downstairs to find Spencer sat at the table reading a newspaper, "Spence? I just realised I didn't bring any beachwear." You said as you sat down and Spencer handed you the newspaper,

"Yeah I guess I wasn't very specific. Do you want to run to the mall and grab some before we go? We have all day, it's still pretty early." He replied, taking a mouthful of berries,

"Yeah okay, I'll surprise you with some super sexy bikinis." You teased and Spencer practically choked on his food.

"You'd look super sexy in a trash bag."

"That is one theory I'd rather not test." You both laughed and once you had finished you drove you both to the mall at Spencer's direction.

You went into a small boutique and told Spencer to wait outside which he agreed to, you thought that maybe seeing photos of models scantily clad was making him a bit uncomfortable.

20 minutes later and you came out with a large shopping bag to see Spencer sat on a bench outside the shop reading his way through his fourth book.

"All done?" He smiled as he looked up,

"Yep, let's go to the beach." You smiled back and kissed him gently.

When you got back to the house you went upstairs to put on one of your new swimsuits. You decided to go with a purple one that had bits of material that wrapped around your torso in a crisscross and the bottoms tied at the sides. You put on a white mesh sarong over your waist and some sunglasses as you headed downstairs to see Spencer in perhaps the most casual clothes you had seen him in. He was in some blue swimming trunks with a grey t shirt on lying on the sofa reading once more, until he saw you that was.

He looked up when you came down the stairs and his mouth fell open like that of a comedic cartoon character, looking you up and down. "What?" You laughed, pretending you didn't know why he was acting the way he was.

"I was jusy thinking maybe we won't make it to the beach." He stuttered as he stood up and grabbed you firmly, his large hands tightly on your hips and slowly pulling you in closer.

"No, I don't think so, you promised me beach, we're going to the beach." You said mockingly and Spencer's head bowed with slight disappointment.

"Okay, but if anyone makes any kind of pass at you, they're fucking dead." He replied, picking up a rucksack he had packed with towels and other things and you laughed at his jealousness.
