You went home on Sunday as planned after Spencer had convinced you he would be fine and Hotch wouldn't allow you to sit in his hospital room any longer.
Before you left DC you rang Director Jules with the CIA and officially declined the job and she told you that if you were ever in need of a job to go to her first, but working for the US government was not high on your list of careers.

It had been a month since you were in DC and you hadn't been able to get any more time off to go back and because of Spencer's leg he couldn't fly, which you knew, but apparently nobody else did...
One evening you had just got in from work when you got a call from Aaron which of course you picked up straight away, "Aaron! Hi, how are you doing?"
"Hi Y/N, I'm doing okay thank you, I'm not calling socially unfortunately but I do have a question."
"Oh?"
"Did you sign Reid's medical report as a second opinion that he was cleared to fly?" His tone was stern,
"What? No of course not, he should definitely not be flying!" You said in a bit of shock, "Did he forge my signature?"
"It appears so. I only just got the form myself but because you are a doctor it didn't cause any problems but I recognised the name of course. Don't worry you won't be in any trouble I'll get it all cleared up and talk to Reid about it."
"Thank you. Honestly, Spencer." You scoffed and Aaron chuckled slightly,
"Oh and Y/N? Thank you for all your help before you left DC. We all look forward to having you back."
"It's really no problem, you know I would have stayed longer if I could have."
"See you soon hopefully Y/N."
"Bye Aaron." You said and he hung up the phone and you immediately texted Spencer,
[You] So you forged my signature hey?
[Spencer] I'm sorry! I just needed to work with Hotch gone and everything. Are you mad?
[You] Hotch is sorting it so it's fine, but you won't be able to fly. If you could you'd be here with me ;)
[Spencer] Oh I definitely would :) Love you
[You] Love you too
