Rainbow After The Rain

"Mom, are my plans really okay? Baka pumangit ang lugar kapag ako ang nag-desisyon," nakanguso kong sabi. Inilahad ko rito ang details ng mga designs na gusto ko para sa kasal namin ni Azlan.

Azlan wanted me to design everything. He said that he wants to see my dream wedding. Basta kung saan daw ako masaya ay roon din siya. Tho, he admitted that he is a bit off because he planned a wedding with another woman before. At lahat ng gusto nitong mangyari sa isang kasal ay naroon kaya gusto niyang gumawa ako ng sariling plano.

But I'm a bit skeptical about it since I don't really know how to design anything. Yes, I did help before with how to plan a wedding. Oddly, it was my fiancé and his ex-fiancée's wedding that I help to plan. Ang gulo ng buhay namin pero mahal namin ang isa't isa. We can't linger on the past when we are already facing our future. So we just decided to move on from what happened before.

"Of course not, baby. Magaganda ang plans mo for the wedding's designs. Don't doubt yourself, okay? Just do what will make you happy and at the same time, contented." Napangiti ako sa sinabi ni Mommy at nakangiting tumango. Nakatingin ito sa wedding plans ko. She has that proud expression on her face.

Pagkatapos kinulabit niya ang katabing si Tita Anemone. My tita glanced at her and she said something about my designs. Nakangiti silang dalawa na nag-usap doon kaya tumayo na ako sa kinauupuan ko. Sa tingin ko ay sapat na rin naman iyon. Naglakad ako papunta kay Lezzana na siyang tinutulungan ako sa mga food tasting. Azlan is not with us since he needed to go to Moskva, Moscow for his parents.

His biological mother still doesn't know about me. Ang alam lang ata nito ay ang tungkol sa kanila ni Shaira Nessia. And speaking of her, I haven't had any information about her yet. But I unexpectedly saw her face in someone else's phone yesterday when all of my cousins came to visit me. Allana and Kuya Jacob are the only ones who isn't present because of some personal stuffs they needed to face. Pero nangako naman sila sa akin na a-attend sa kasal ko kahit na ano man ang mangyari.

"The chefs I hired will visit tomorrow for the food tasting. Sure ka na ba ito lang mga pinili ko at mga pinili mo ang ipapaluto ko? How about Kuya Azie? What does he wants for your wedding?" she asked while eyes were on her tablet.

Dahil nandito siya ngayon ay naiwan ang resort ko sa isang pinagkatitiwalaan niyang empleyado roon. Our wedding will actually be held in the resort since that is what I and Azlan really want despite everything.

"Iyon na lahat. How about the cakes? May nahanap ka bang puwedeng chef na gumawa niyon?" I asked. Since, I am not really that particularly good when it comes to food, so Lezzana literally extended out her hand for help. At dahil amy catering service naman sa resort ko ay iyon na mismo ang pinili namin for reception area. Basta ang mga pagkain ay sa mga magagaling na chefs namin ipinaubaya.

"The cakes are all good. Sa hapon bukas darating ang pastry chef para sa cake tasting. Then she will be the one to ask about your preference regarding the wedding cake. How about the suits and dresses? May updates na ba about it?" tanong niya pabalik kaya napatingin ako sa cellphone ko. Tumango ako sa kaniya.

"Canix said that their palace's tailors is coming this afternoon for the measurements of everyone whose going to attend the wedding. Lalo na ang mga kasali sa abay. Magaling gumawa ang pinadala niya internationally. Siya na rin daw ang bahala sa bayad niyon. Its one of his wedding gift for us," I uttered, smiling.

I am completely overwhelmed by everyone's support that I'm thinking already that everything is just a dream. Pero grabeng panaginip naman ito kapag nagkataon. Saka palagi akong kinukurot ni Lezzana kapag sinasabi kong parang panaginip ang lahat. She said that this, everything that's happening right now is the outcome of our endurance.
