after the class finished he let out a deep sigh, looking at his book that had lots of drawings and ideas scattered along the white pages. when all the students left he decided to stay, wanting to sit a his desk while he tried to figure out what the hell he was going to do for his first assessment.

when the teacher started talking about what this assessment was going to be about, he was a little frustrated. he hated assessment's when it came to relying on other people, he hated group work. the main reason for him hating group work was because everyone would lead it up to him and so he did all the work, but everyone got the same grade as he did. this assessment was different.

they were all given a name by a teacher, a name of another student in the class and you had to draw them but in secret. to taehyung it felt like secret santa, he was not overly fond of the idea, but he was atleast thankful that this was not group work.

when he got a piece of paper that was folded paced to him by the teacher, he opened it to see 'jeon jungkook' the first thought he had was 'who the hell is that'. his eyes scanned the back of the chairs until his eyes met a name and he felt his heart drop a little.

'I cant believe out of all people I got mr cold eyes' the male groaned, brushing through his hair as he placed his face between his hands. trying to figure out how he was going to even draw the male without being noticed. it was an impossible assessment, drawings take up so much time and one move from 'mr cold eyes' could mess it all up.

"you happy with who you got, tae?" he remembered jin say from next to him, he just nodded his head. there was no point crying over it as the teacher said you cant change who you get. he was hoping to get sam or jin, he had heaps of pictures of the two of them and it would make his life so much easier.

they had a month to work on this assessment until it was due at the end of the month, so taehyung spent most of his break planning. trying to find and brainstorm ideas to get his plan to work. he thought about taking a bunch of pictures of jungkook so he can just continue to draw whenever he wants.

drawing a picture when the people could move would waste so much of his time, so he decided he was going to try take a bunch of pictures of jungkook and go through them to pick one he liked the most. the brunette felt curious as to who could have his name, maybe he would try spot the person out and make it easier for them.

"taehyung, what are you still doing inside? go outside and have fun with your friends" his teacher chuckled as soon as she walked in the room with her cup of warm tea in her hands.

the omega nodded, packing up his things before bowing to his teacher as he left. walking down the hallways of the highschool always felt good to him, he felt different, he felt like a different person. a big part of his life was running away from people who did harm, but sometimes harm followed him.

"watch it dipshit" a angry red-head hissed as he bumped shoulders with taehyung who immediately apologised and picked up his book that fell to the ground. the only thought that was going through his head was 'your the fucking one that bumped into me asshole' as much as he wanted to say that, he could not.

keeping a low profile was the best thing for him. he knew that, which sometimes made it difficult. thomas jensen, was the biggest bully of the highschool. there was always going to be one of them. the red-head was quite popular, popular for all the wrong reasons. people feared him, students feared him but wanted to be his friend.

thomas and sam dont get along, taehyung picked up on that quite quickly. they both clash as they strive for popularity, the only difference between them was sam was really nice and thomas was a asshole. sam is a nice teen, captain of the volleyball team and helped lots of students get out of their comfort-zone.

thomas liked bringing others down, it was like he gained power over seeing people sad. there was something off about thomas that taehyung could not put a finger on. one of the things the brunette hated about human life was that in a environment like highschool people strived to popularity, people craved it and were mean because of it.

no one had ever stepped up to thomas. sam was the only person who did not seem to care about the red-head, they had fist fights before and sam knew he was stronger but the best thing sam realised was to not give thomas the attention he wants. he does things to get reactions out of people, the only scary thing was if no one noticed him a teen would get hurt and he would all of a sudden be the talk of the town.

you may ask 'why has he not been expelled' taehyung asked that to sam a lot, even after finding out why. all because thomas's father was a huge sponsor for the school.

typical.
