The Hidden Werewolf

when taehyung heard jungkook say "we have to be honest with each other" he felt his heart drop slightly. there was no way he could tell jungkook the truth, right?. maybe he was just thinking worse case scenario when it comes to jungkook's reaction. 

taehyung was sat in class early on a tuesday morning, maybe he was way too early but he did not feel like being stuck in his dorm till class started. his head turned to the sound of the door opening, to see two males walk inside. two males he had never seen before. 

"oh thank god we found someone" a short male with black hair said as he walked towards him, his other friend walking behind him. 

"hi, my name is jimin and this is yoongi. we are new here" jimin said with a bright smile, hand out in front of him as he was waiting for taehyung to shake his hand. 

"taehyung, nice to meet you. do you both have class here?" taehyung questioned, placing his pencil down from his hand.

"no, we were actually hoping you could help us find these classes?" the black-haired male questioned, looking at the brunette who stood up from his seat and nodded. he looked at the timetable that jimin handed to him and smiled. 

"follow me" taehyung replied, walking with the both of them out the class and down the hallways. 

"where did you both move from?" the brunette questioned, wanting to create small chat as he lead them both down the hallway so that there was not just awkward silence. 

"a-ah, we have always lived in seoul. we just moved schools" jimin said, scratching the back of his neck as he reached the classroom. 

"oh cool, well this is your class" 

"thank's a lot taehyung" jimin said, smiling as taehyung nodded and rushed back to his own classroom.

history class had just started and taehyung already wanted it to be over. one of the most frustrating things for him was sitting in class when he already knew the assessment but could not work on it during class, even in the class that the assessment was given to him in. 

all the students were in class, writing or talking to each other as they all waited for the teacher to speak who was talking to thomas. taehyung avoided eye contact completely, scribbling on his note pad as he waited for mr walker to start the class. 

after a few minutes went by mr walker started talking, catching everyones attention as the students stopped what they were doing. 

"yesterday we discussed a topic to do with our assessment which is going to be about werewolves. I thought it would be good to get diverse opinions so you can think about different sides of where people stand. thomas has very generously asked his father to come do a presentation" mr walker said, pointing towards the door that had just opened. 

a male walked inside, with a bag and a folder in both hands. once he placed it down he smiled and shook mr walkers hand. taehyung looked over to jungkook who also went to do the same, when they made eye contact the raven could tell that the smaller was scared. 

they know exactly what thomas's father does, and what he could possibly be talking about. 

"you have the floor" the teacher said after telling the students to quiet down, mr walker grabbed a few papers before going back to his desk to sit down. 

"hello everyone, most of you know me as thomas's father but you can all call me greg"

"my job is to keep us humans safe, werewolves look cuddly and soft but they are demons" greg said with a sarcastic smile on his face, a type of smile that jungkook wanted to punch off. 

the students watched as greg took pictures out his bag and stuck them onto the white board in the corner. 

"as you can see, the blurred out pictures are of people who were in the forrest one day and got attacked by werewolves and were later found by police officers" greg explained looking at the students to see them all super interested. 

jungkook raised his hand, catching peoples attention as he leaned back in his chair. 

"yes?" greg pointed towards him. 

"I actually remember reading about this, weren't the people that got killed were hunters? I think I remember there was a alpha who was a father, a mother and a six year old that those hunters had killed" jungkook stated, arms crossed over his chest as he made direct eye contact with greg who hummed. 

"new kid, there is no time for questions" thomas complained but was soon interrupted by mr walker. 

"actually this is a class discussion, this is the time to share your opinions and thoughts and gather other peoples perspective" mr walker explained, apologising to greg before telling him to continue. 

"that is a very good point" greg replied to jungkook who did not look away. 

"these hunters did kill these wolves as they came to close to them-" 

"but they were in wolf grounds, they went there to kill wolves not to go on an adventure" jungkook replied back. 

"let me ask you this son" greg started, leaning against a desk as he pointed his finger to those pictures. 

"if that was your family that got killed, would you not want revenge?" 

"yes, I would" jungkook replied, eyes still following greg as he looked like he had won something. 

"but, the hunters killed a family first. so would you not say that the pack got revenge, revenge for killing someone apart of their family?" the alpha shared, getting a few claps from students who were really impressed by this discussion. 

"you seem to really like werewolves? if you were sitting in the forrest eating a sandwich while watching the sunset and a wolf came up to you, do you think it would kill you?" greg asked. 

"yes, definitely. that is why you dont mess with their territory. humans would not like it if werewolves were in their towns killing people so why should humans have the right to go in their territory and kill them and their families. it is straight up wrong" jungkook complained. 

taehyung sat there watching the whole interaction in shook, he felt pride swirl in his chest at what jungkook was saying. the raven seemed so proud of where he came from and who he is. the brunette admired that so much.
