The Hidden Werewolf

07 | thomas the bully

jungkook was sat on his bed, his computer on his lap as he scrolled through youtube. sometimes refreshing the page until he found a video that caught his eye. it had been two days since the shoot down at the bar and the bar has been closed. taehyung, who has been on his mind a lot during the days after what happened.

after talking to the police about what he saw, he watched as sam took taehyung back to the dorms. he was planning to ask him if he needed a ride but did not mind that sam bet him to it. they had classes today, but since jungkook just needed to walk two minutes to get to classes he could leave at the last minute.

having history class first thing in the morning was something jungkook was not looking forward to, he was not a fan of history class. maybe he was more so dreading getting every assessment for ever class, especially since the art class assessment was already stressing him out.

looking at the time once more before he let out a draining groan as he pushed himself off his bed, placing everything he needed into his bag before leaving his room. walking towards his class was not much of a issue, it went from there being a lot of people in the hallways to everyone moving to the side as a male with red hair walking down the hallways with a few people behind him.

the male looked familiar, as he walked closer his eyes shot towards the direction of taehyung who had his book in his hands. the brunette was looking towards the ground not noticing who he was going to bump into.

as jungkook got closer he watched as taehyung walked into the red-head, dropping his phone from his hands. he frowned when he heard lots of gaps and people turn to look at the two of them.

"sorry, I did not see-" taehyung started as he bent down to pick up his phone, getting back up to make eye contact with the last person he has ever wanted to have an encounter with. the air felt thicker as the hallways grew quiet.

"what have I told you about watching where you walk, dipshit" thomas spat at taehyung, who bit his tongue— wanting to say something so badly but did not feel like a black eye today.

"huh? you gone quiet now?" thomas chuckled, raising his hand only to hit the book out of the smaller males grasp. jungkook felt his chest burn and what he was seeing, his hands turned into fists.

"pick it up" thomas said, eyeing taehyung who slowly nodded his head. just as he was about to bend down to grab it he saw sneakers come into his vision as he looked at the floor. taehyung tilted his head up to see jungkook standing there, strong but cold gaze on thomas who was also looking at the raven.

"how about you pick it up" jungkook said, not hint of any emotion in his voice as his cold glance was on thomas. he watched as the red head chuckled, throwing his head back to look at his friends who also laughed.

jungkook stood his ground when thomas stepped forward, feeling a little happy when he realised he was taller than the angry male. "who do you think you are new boy, who do you think you are to tell me what to do?" thomas asserted, eyeing jungkook who had not looked away from him— not even a little.

"who do you think you are to tell him what to do" jungkook complained, turning his head towards taehyung who kept his eyes towards the ground. the brunette felt so thankful that jungkook was stepping in, if anything he wanted to bite thomas's neck off.

but even with him being a werewolf, humans sometimes can be stronger than omega's.

thomas laughed, expecting jungkook to start laughing as well but he did not.

"look's like you just made yourself one of my targets new boy" thomas smirked, expecting the raven to say something but all jungkook did was stare. the true-blood alpha did not care, a human targeting him was the least of his worries.

"and pretty boy here, you both better watch your back" thomas whispered before he turned to his friends and nodded, pushing past jungkook who seriously wanted to throw a punch or two but instead sighed. he bent down to grab the book that was in his hands, he looked at the brunette who had a soft smile across his face.

"thank you again" taehyung whispered, feeling as if jungkook has really been saving his ass lately.

"no need" jungkook shook his head, handing the smaller his book before they both walked into class when the bell had rang.

"we are just going to go right into the assessment today" the teacher said as he leaned against his desk, looking towards the students in the class who were sat there quietly. mr walker is an amazing history teacher, taehyung really adored him. the way he always could grab people attention when he was talking about history.

he knew made it boring, ever.

"for this years topic, i have the criteria and what things you will all need to complete for this but I want you all to pick a topic"

"the class has to all come together for this and decide, we will go through some ideas and go into more depth as I write some stuff on the board" mr walker said, grabbing his whiteboard marker.

"lets get started, who's first?" mr walker asked, turning his head to sam who had his arm raised.

"history on sports events" sam smiled, high-fiving his teammates who all nodded along. jungkook knew the only reason why sam picked that topic was because he knew a lot about the history on sports so it would be easy for him. fair enough.

"vampires" a student called out, causing some people in the class to get excited on that topic.

"so would this be, history on theories of vampires?" mr walker questioned, nodding one the student nodded and wrote it on the board.

"presidents"

"countries"

"cultures"

"werewolves" jungkook called out, causing the class to go quiet. the raven snickered a little when everyone was looking at him, typical.

"I dont think anyone has mentioned werewolves for an assessment. very interesting jungkook, can you elaborate on what that assessment could look like" mr walked questioned, leaning against the desk as his eyes lead towards the back of the class— where jungkook was sitting.

the raven nodded, leaning back in his chair a little as he started talking.

"it could be, different sightings of werewolves, pack history, tales, things people have found, the different ranks" jungkook suggested, shrugging a little as his eyes landed on taehyung who looked a little nervous.

"I actually like that idea, what is everyone else's thoughts on this being the topic? I would be interested in reading what people find" mr walker asked the class, a lot of the class nodding.

"okay that is the topic then"

"your main topic is werewolves but, your criteria could be about the ranks, or findings like jungkook stated" mr walker said, grabbing a stack of papers that were stacked on his brown desk that was centred in the middle of the room— at the front.

"would a criteria topic be how to kill one?" thomas asked, jungkook shot his head towards the voice. he did not even realise the male was in his class.

"thomas? are you in my history class?" mr walker questioned, handing the last paper to him.

"yeah, since i failed the last paper" thomas chuckled, looking at the teacher who nodded.

"okay, well yeah that could be a criteria topic. it just has to relate to werewolves"

for the first time in awhile taehyung felt scared.
