The Hidden Werewolf

09 | im at the cafe

taehyung was sat in his dorm on his bed as he looked out the window. rain was crashing against the ground as students rushed towards their cars for cover. the brunette had his favourite grey jumper on, under the fluffy blankets as his mind started to spin of what had just occurred.

his roommate, luke had friends over. majority of the time he had his friends over he made sure to have snacks in his room, so that he did not have to leave his room. jungkook never confirmed about him being a werewolf, but it was either that or he was a vampire.

as soon as thomas and his friends left the bathroom and they had walked out the cubical they were hiding in, as soon as jungkook asked what his rank was he ran. ignoring the loud shouts of jungkook's voice. it was bad enough he found out his secret but he cant let him know that he is a omega.

maybe running away was not the best choice he has made, but going off on jungkook's eyes he must be an alpha. his mind flashed back to all the stories his grandmother shared with him about male alpha's and omega's, a lot of the time it never ended well. there have only been a few omega's through the generations but every time they thought they met their mate who someone who was met to love them, they were turned into sexual slaves.

it was sad, taehyung's heart hurt every time he thought about it. it started to get him thinking about how there will be a possibility that he is never going to meet anyone, he will never get to fall in love. wont be able to experience the feeling of being in someone's arms, feeling safe, getting cared for.

finding his mate was always something taehyung wanted, but walking along egg shells seemed to be how his life was going to go. he let out a little yawn before pushing himself off his bed, grabbing his coat, umbrella and phone before walking out his room and out the dorm.

once he was outside he undid the umbrella, putting it over his head as he walked down the road. there was a nice cafe just around the corner that taehyung liked going to when he felt hungry and wanted to get out the dorm. there were many downsides to being an omega, one of the main issues was being cold.

omega's felt the cold ten times more than what humans do, and it was the most frustrating thing ever. they might as well be called humans at this point, what was the point in being called a certain rank when you dont have any special abilities?.

omega's have the ability to get pregnant, which was one of the only pro's for taehyung as he has always wanted to be a parent. his hand pushed open the cafe door, shaking his umbrella from the wetness and putting it in a vase that was filled with umbrellas by the door.

after ordering the same thing he always does, a hot chocolate with a caramel slice he sat in the corner of the cafe. looking out the window as he watched the rain, it was definitely weird weather.

he flinched a little when he felt his phone vibrate against the table, his eyes looked towards the message that appeared on his lock screen.

hey its jungkook, we need to talk.

'how the fuck did he get my number' taehyung thought, so that is what he replied with.

was his reply

after texting jungkook, telling him he was not at the dorms and was at a cafe. the raven told him to send him his location. the brunette sent it anyways, curious to know what he was going to say. now knowing he was not the only werewolf in town was scary.

'could there possibly be more' was a common thought he has been having.

it was nerve racking knowing that anyone could know who he is, being found out that your a werewolf is dangerous but being found out that your and omega could be worse. he was able to keep who he really is on the down low, as soon as jungkook came into the picture he felt like everyone knows.

he looked up when he heard someone call his name, only to see jungkook walk towards him and slide into the seat in front of him. it was the first time jungkook looked really panicked, he looked scared.

"are you okay?" taehyung asked putting down his phone, before jungkook could open his mouth his food was placed in front of him. alongside his drink.

he thanked the waiter before grabbing one of the knives and cutting the slice in half, handing it over to jungkook who thanked him.

"I was trying out for the volleyball team and when I was in the locker rooms changing some of thomas's friends were in the locker room. they believe there are werewolves living in this town, I was an idiot and wanted to go for a run and my paw got caught in a bush near one of the fields and it took some of my fur off me"

"one of thomas's friends found it and gave it to him. they know we exist in this town, they just dont know who" jungkook whispered, looking at the brunette who sighed.

"if we both want to survive, we have to tell each other everything" the true-blood was serious, he did not think there were crazy teenage hunters in this town. if he knew he would not have come here.

"what do we do?" taehyung asked, feeling anxiety swirl in his stomach as he looked at jungkook who shrugged. "I am not sure, all I know is that thomas's dad owns a company where they have gadgets to kill wild life. I did some research and saw there are times during the months where they all go out on a hunt" the true-blood stated, placing the slice that he had taken a bite of down.

"we have to at-least transform into our wolves one a week" jungkook sighed, catching taehyung off guard. he has not shifted into his wolf since he arrived in the town. "what happens if you haven't shifted?" he questioned.

"when it comes time to shifting your wolf is very weak and it is not healthy for your human form or your wolf form" jungkook replied, glancing at taehyung who nodded slowly.

"you haven't shifted? since you have been here?" the alpha asked, gulping when taehyung shook his head.

"I have been scared to do so, just in case I get caught or someone see's me. I thought I was the only wolf" taehyung whispered quietly, loud enough for jungkook to hear and nod.
