The Hidden Werewolf

08 | "your a werewolf as well?"

jungkook was starting to second guess himself as his feet lead him towards the cafeteria. as soon as he heard the teacher say they only had a week to do this assessment, he started to question why he bothered opening his mouth. he suggested doing werewolves as it would be easy for him, since he knows a lot as he is one. 

after grabbing his food he walked towards a empty table, chucking his tray on the bench as he sat down. he pulled out his phone, ready to scroll through social media when he heard a tray slide in front of him. the raven smiled when he saw sam and his group of friends all sit with him. 

"how are you liking campus so far?" sam questioned, digging into his food quickly as he waited for the raven in front of him to reply.

"so far I like it, that thomas guys pisses me off though. is he always a dick?" jungkook asked bluntly, looking towards sam and his friends who all chuckled. 

"I knew we would get a long well" sam laughed, clearing his throat as he placed his fork down. 

"yeah he has always been a dick, who did you see him pick on this time?" sam questioned. 

"taehyung"

"I have told that fucker to leave taehyung alone" sam groaned, hand placed over his eyes as he let out a deep sigh. 

jungkook had noticed how sam seemed to be so overly protective of taehyung, he was not sure why but decided to ask. "you seem to be very protective of him? are you guys dating?" he questioned, eyes focused on sam as he watch the male shake his head. 

"no, hell no. I am protective of him cause no one else is, no one else really seems to care about his well-being. he has friends but he does not seem to open up to them much" sam whispered, turning his head slightly to a table where taehyung and his friends were sat. 

jungkook followed his glance, letting out a little hum as he turned back around. 

"does he have family here?" the raven questioned, his mind wondering off when sam shook his head. 

"when I first met him he was sleeping on a park bench, if I did not help him out there is a high chance he could still be there now" sam said, voice filled with sadness.

taehyung flinched slightly when he heard a plate smash against the ground, the whole cafeteria turned silent as everyones eyes were trained onto thomas and his friends who were sitting against the table. 

"here we go" jin sighs, turning his attention back to his food as thomas starts to speak. 

"as you all know, my father is a founding owner of a gadgets company for protection against wild animals and people. this right here!" thomas yelled, holding a gadget in his hand. the brunette was confused, from the reaction of his friends it seemed like thomas did this often. his eyes looked around the cafeteria to see a lot of people seem excited. 

"this gadget here is to protect people from werewolves" thomas said as he stood up, everyone curious to see the gadget up close. jungkook felt shivers go down his spine, the hair at the back of his neck go up as his eyes followed thomas. 

"just one spray on someone and if a werewolf were to ever bite you or touch it, it will be poisoned" thomas smiled proudly as he walked between the tables. soon reaching taehyung's table as he turned to him. 

the brunette watched as thomas undid the cap and he felt his heart drop as he felt the spay hit his arm, he watched as the water like substance stayed in its place.
