I take a drivers ed test in two days.

Adam:

"We have to bind the circle today, Adam. Are you ready?" Diana asked.

"I'm fine. How's she doing? Does she seem better?"

"She's alright, still asleep actually. We had a fun night."

"That's good. I'm about to meet up with Cassie, I'll see you tonight."

"Cassie," she said with a confusingly bitter tone. "Yeah. I'll see you tonight."
She hung up the phone and I went upstairs where my dad was working at the bar.

"Hey, I'm on my way out to meet Cassie."

"Okay kid, just be safe," my dad responded.

"I will, thanks dad."
I headed out to Java Brew to meet Cassie for coffee. I parked my blue jeep, and headed inside. I joined her over at a booth and we talked a bit about the circle and the binding spell.

"Anyways, enough circle talk, how are you and Diana?" She asked.

"We haven't really had any alone time lately. You know, Evie's staying with her and then she's been kind of distant with me the last couple days. I know something's up I just don't think she's ready to talk about it yet."

"Just give her some time, she'll open up to you when she's ready."

"Thanks Cassie," I responded. We hung out for about an hour before she had to leave to go have lunch with her grandmother, Jane. I headed back to the boathouse and began my shift.

Evie:

I woke up around eleven-thirty, and Diana was sitting on the window seat fully dressed and ready to start her day.
"Morning sleeping beauty," she giggled.

"Diana, I look like a hobo in a large city on crack." I had on a gray spaghetti strap tank top with matching shorts and my hair was a complete mess.

"Don't be like that, you always look pretty. Now get up and get dressed, we have stuff to do today."

"What could we possibly have to do on a Saturday morning?"

"One, we're going shopping. Two, we have to go to the abandoned house to get my family's book of shadows and any ingredients or items we'll need for the binding spell," she responded. Right. I forgot that tonight we were officially binding the circle.

"Ugh, fine."
I took a quick shower and then got myself dressed. I wore a gray spaghetti strap with a white sweater, black jeans, and brown leather heeled ankle boots. Diana and I drove to town in her BMW 231i, and stopped at a couple shops. Clothes, shoes, accessories, normal girl stuff.

"Ooh, Evie there's a voodoo type shop," she smirked. I rolled my eyes, yet she dragged me along. It was filled with weird looking things. Scientist's artifacts, knives with patterns, and more.

"Well that was a weird place," I told her as we hopped back in her car.

"You think the owner could be a witch?"

"No," I responded with a scoff. She gave me a look, "Maybe? But what would it matter?"

"I don't know, you're right. We'll just move on."

A couple minutes later, I had to yell at her. "What are we doing here?"
She drove us to the boatyard. On a Saturday afternoon. Where Adam works.

"I'm hungry. And you're going to have to see Adam and Cassie both later tonight anyway," she said as she opened her car door. I groaned, and got out of the passenger side.
