I start school tomorrow so I will be updating every weekend, that may vary depending on how I'm feeling or how busy I am.

Evie:

Me and Diana showed up to the beach first to set up everything needed for the spell. A bonfire, and the members of the circle with words. We had just lit the fire when a door slammed shut. A person walked towards us, and Adam came into view.
"You're here early," Diana said.

"I wanted to be early, to check on the both of you," he said and then turned to me, "have you seen him since this morning?"

"No. Usually he appears when I'm alone, and Diana hasn't left my side so that's probably why."

"Well we are here for you Evie, and I promise we'll help you figure it out," Diana said. The others showed up at the time we planned, and we gathered around the fire. Diana told us to begin bringing our hands together. Diana to Adam, Adam to Cassie, Cassie to Melissa, Melissa to Nick, Nick to me, and then... me to Faye. When she and I touched hands, the fire flared. It was so large I felt the heat brush against me. Our hands didn't break though, and Diana demanded we begin the spell.
She started speaking, "Fire, Earth, Metal, Air, Water and Blood. By these elements, we bind the circle, and follow in the steps of our ancestors; who pledged themselves to fight against the forces of darkness. When evil assails us, when fear weakens us, when descent threatens us, in the circle we will find our power. We come to this place alone, but leave bound as one. With this oath, our journey begins together. Do you accept the circle?"

We all spoke together, "I accept." The bonfire flared again, and we knew the spell had been cast.

"It didn't do this before," Diana said. "It worked."

"So now what?" Melissa asks.

"I can't use my magic. Why can't I use my magic?!" Faye screamed.

"I read that binding the circle makes our power one. We can't use individual magic," Diana responded. Faye fumed.

"And you didn't mention this before?!"

"We needed to bind the circle Faye and if I had told you, you would have refused!"

"Damn right I would've refused! I want my magic back!"

"No. Remember you almost killed both Cassie and Sally! And you blew up a beaker that cut Cassie and Evie."

"Enough!" I yelled. The girls were fighting over individual magic but we all know this needed to be done.
"You're both acting like children. Faye, go calm down! Diana don't fuel her." Faye huffed and walked away. Diana sighed and sat down on a log.

"You're right, I shouldn't have yelled at her. But I couldn't tell her, if we didn't bind the circle our power would grow more dangerous and more people could get hurt," Diana said.

"I know," I responded. "But you should've told all of us the truth."

"And I've realized that, I'm sorry."

"It's okay, but I'm not the one you need to apologize to," I said as I looked out at Faye who stood before the waves of the water that just barely reaches her feet. Diana gets up and walks over to her, and I watch as they inaudibly speak to one another in a seemingly calm manner. My head snaps beside me as I hear something. Adam sits on the log next to me where Diana once was.

"Hey."

"Hi," I responded.

"Are you okay? We haven't really had a chance to actually talk. Just us, you've been avoiding me and Cassie."

"I'm fine, and yes I have. I don't know, I was just really hurt that you all kept this from me and for some reason Diana was the only one I trusted. I expected this from Faye, but not from you and Cassie. It stung Adam."

"I know, and I'm sorry. It was my idea not to tell you and Faye agreed. Diana was upset but she then figured it'd be the right thing to do. We didn't expect it to turn out this way, we just didn't want to burden you with the fact that you're a witch when you were already dealing with finding your sister and birth mom. I'm really sorry Evie."

"It's okay Adam, I've forgiven you. Excuse me, I have to talk to Cassie."
I got up and walked over to my friend who was having small talk with Melissa and Nick.

"Hey," I said as I sat down next to her.

"Hey," she seemed shocked.

"I forgive you Cassie, and I hope we can still be great and close friends."

"Of course," she responded. We hugged and then we all began to leave. The spell had been completed and Faye had calmed down. She was still upset over losing her individual magic, but she'll have to deal. Diana explained that if there are two members of the circle together, they can do magic but it won't be as strong as when the entire circle is together. Strength in numbers.
I approached Faye as we both headed towards the vehicles.

"How am I supposed to get used to this?" Faye asked out of nowhere. "For sixteen years my mom has kept the fact that I have a sister a secret and then I find out the truth and she just expects me to be okay with it."

"Trust me Faye, I feel the same way. It'll take a while but we'll eventually get used to each other. I do hope to have a relationship with you Faye, not as a friend but as a sister. But I won't forgive Dawn, I refuse. She kept this from me for almost seventeen years and yet she raised you and gave me up. And I still don't know why."

"She wouldn't tell me, believe me I tried. She's adamant that she will never tell either of us why she gave you away. And I'm really sorry she kept me."

"It's okay Faye, I don't at all hold her choices and actions against you," I responded. Surprisingly, Faye hugged me.

"Thank you," she muttered and then went off to her car where Melissa waited. I then walked to Diana's, where she and Adam stood.

"That went well," Diana said with a smile.

"I've never seen her hug anyone before," Adam added.

"Yeah, it shocked me too. But we're both open to the idea of bonding as sisters, and she knows how I feel about Dawn."

"Well that's good," Diana replied. Diana and I went back to her house and watched a movie until we both fell asleep.
It had been a good day. I felt better after forgiving Adam and Cassie, and a weight was lifted off of my shoulders now that I had talked openly with Faye, my little sister. We hadn't grown up together, but we can at least try to have a good relationship with each other and maybe she'll grow to be a more loving person.

I'm now going to sleep, I'll be back this weekend.
