Happy Labor Day! Yesterday was my brothers birthday and his friend, also my jokingly adopted child, came over to spend the night with us.
Updated: sorry this was begun a week ago on Labor Day I just didn't finish it.

Evie:

I got up and got dressed for school. I wore a white and blue floral cami crop top with white ripped jeans and black leather heeled ankle boots with decorative buckles. Diana and I ate french toast that Charles had made and then she drove us to school.
Adam pulled up next to us, seconds later followed by Cassie. They both walked up to me and Diana.

"Hey guys," Cassie said.

"Anyone heard from Nick or Melissa?" Diana asked.

"No," Adam shook his head.

"Me neither. Window boy had curtains closed this morning," Cassie responded.

"They may have wanted a little bit of privacy," I said.

Diana looked disgusted, "Ew." I rolled my eyes and then we all went to class. The day went by and Nick and Melissa hadn't shown up. I talked to Faye after school before Diana and I went to the boathouse. Adam brought me my coffee, and sat down next to Diana.

"So I was thinking, we should do something fun," Diana said with a smile.

"Like what? Ride a boat around a bay for a couple hours and pray a storm doesn't form and kill us?" I responded sarcastically. There's almost nothing to do in Chance Harbor.

"A road trip. Fall break is coming up next week and I figured that we should all go somewhere nice for the weekend."

"Okay, now I'm interested," I put my hands together on the table showing intrigue in Diana's little getaway plan.

"Maybe Colorado Springs? Vegas?"

"Hey guys," Cassie said as she sat down. "What are y'all talking about?"

Diana's phone began ringing as I talked to Cassie. "Diana wants to go on a road trip next weekend for fall break."

"Ooh, my grandmother wanted to take me to Multnomah Falls next summer, maybe we can go. It's in Oregon."

"Nick, slow down," Diana said. The three of us turned our attention to her. She hung up the phone.
"We have to go to Nick's, something's wrong with Melissa."

"Okay, I'll call Faye," I said. We all left and drove over to Nick's place. I called Faye on the way there and she said she'd meet us.
We parked outside of Nick's house which was right next to Cassie's. We went inside and upstairs to Nick's room. He looked disheveled. His hair was a mess, he wasn't wearing a shirt, and the room was a disaster.

"What's going on?" Faye asked.

"She's different, she just went off out of nowhere. I think the demon possessed her," Nick said in an upset tone.

"Okay, Nick, where is she now?" Diana asked.

"I don't know, she just ran off. She might be at the abandoned house."

"Okay, let's go."
We all took our vehicles and drove to the abandoned house. We walked in quietly and slowly, careful to hardly make any noise walking on the wooden floors. Diana, Adam and I approached Melissa from one entrance to the main herb room downstairs while Nick, Faye and Cassie entered from the other.

"Who's there?" Melissa yelled as she spun around. We all stopped, trying to seem to her that we were no threat. If the demon that possessed Heather is in Melissa, then we need to help her because Heather died when she was possessed, and if Melissa dies then she's dead and someone else gets possessed too.
