Hello everyone!!!! If you've made it this far, thank you so so so much for reading and (hopefully) enjoying my story!! <3

This chapter is going to include things like trivia for the general story as well as information about the creation of "Shadows Lurk" if you're interested!! And even some information about the sequel that I have in progress!! >:)

!! I also wanted to note that I will be removing most/if not all of the a/n's I've included at the end of chapters to clean things up; nearly all of them are no longer relevant and I would like this story to feel more polished. :] !!

✑ 2. 𝓖𝓮𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓵 𝓼𝓽𝓸𝓻𝔂 𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓿𝓲𝓪

In this part I will be listing (in dot point form) various story trivia from "Shadows Lurk"; such as clarifying things that may have been foggily implied, giving you extra bits of information about scenes in the story/the characters themselves or revealing things about lore that I don't think will be covered in the future!!

- The reason why (Y/n) wanted to be called Flare is because she believed that "(Y/n)" was too weak and naive to save her family, so when she joined the rebellion she decided to start a new life where she wouldn't be afraid anymore (choosing the name 'Flare' on a whim as she thought it complimented the name of the rebellion). 

 ⁃ Liam is the man who (Y/n) bumped into in the market (and who she accidentally swapped bags with).

 ⁃ Shadow and Fang are, perhaps, demonic beings summoned by Dark. They have some sort of connection to him, though it's unclear what exactly. They seem to react to Dark's innermost feelings though this is only known by Dark and Die. 

⁃ There is a constant cloud that hovers above the castle and the surrounding town of Basilicus which also reacts to Dark's innermost feelings. Not that he intended for it to be this way; the cloud just simply appeared one day. If you stray far enough from the town you're still able to see some remnants of the blue sky.

- Dark has a d̶i̶a̶r̶y̶ journal that he keeps close by to write in. He uses it as a way too keep track of his emotions as well as keep them in check, especially when they get tough to deal with; "...a small journal; it was a plain leather-bound book with several wads of crisp lined paper tucked neatly inside, not a single page out of place."

⁃ When Dark summons the two daegicae wolves (in chapter 23; "The Sunset") one is blue and one is red; representing and reflecting the personalities of Selene and Damien respectively.

- Anti is the head of the Royal Guard, as well as being Dark's assigned ward. 

- Die is more of an adviser to Dark, as well as a skilled healer for the throne. 

 - Anti is very unique in the sense that he takes almost nothing seriously, not that he does this entirely on purpose. Similarly sometimes things just don't "click" with him, which leads to misunderstandings and potential arguments.
