You didn't get what you wanted. But you knew that from the start, and it was never easy to get what you wanted in this life.
Taehyung never came back, and Yoongi didn't bother going back either. It was you and Seokjin only. You couldn't settle in. It felt quiet, and you couldn't understand how your mind couldn't function in silence. It felt wrong to give up.
So you go to the only place you think you can get answers.
"You are going to hurt yourself," Seokjin walks inside Yoongi's room. The room felt airy as the last time you walked here, "and not because you're standing in one chair, trying to find files you can understand."
"I've been in the police for years, and a thing or two I learn is that if you don't understand another case, then don't bother. You need to understand yours first then you can proceed. You can't even understand your case; how will you understand the others?"
You look at him, climbing down slowly, "Then what? Wait?"
