Y/n's POV

Today is an exhilarating day.

It's October 30th, and today everyone who want's to -and is 16 and up- will be putting their name in the Goblet of Fire. Classes have been over for about an hour, and right now Draco, Matt, Max and I are all outside by the lake, under some trees hanging out.

"What time is it at, again?" I ask nobody in particular, excited.

"7 pm, I can't wait to see who get's picked," Max told us, Matts arm around her shoulders.

"Same," I feel a heavy, wet rain drop land on my forehead, then more begin to trickle from the sky, leaving a soft patter as drops hit the ground.

"We should get back to the castle now, we have about fifteen minutes till it starts," The light rain turns into heavy showers and begins drenching us. The four of us speed up into a run as the rain gets even heavier. When we finally make it to the castle I see a bunch of other students, all soaking wet, trying to make it into the castle where it's warm and cozy.

When we make it to the Entrance Hall we all stop running to catch our breaths. I shiver; my robes and hair are soaked and a gust of wind that's just come by isn't helping with the cold at all.

"I'm gonna go to my dorm and change," I announced.

"Yeah, me too," Max says, we all decided to go to our dorms to dry off and change out of our wet robes.

When I get to my dorm I head to my bathroom and find a fluffy black towel which I dry my hair off on. I change out of my wet robes and uniform and put on (outfit) I brush out my damp hair and use a spell Narcissa taught me to dry my hair fully and instantly.

I left my dorm and saw that I still have ten minutes until it's time. I exit the Slytherin common room and head to Gryffindor tower. When I get there I go to Fred and George's room and grab a purple hoodie that's Fred's. I always steal their hoodies, one, because their comfy, and two, because it's funny when they think that it's the other twin who accidentally took it.

I walk out of the Gryffindor tower and no one even saw me. I'm a sneaky bitch. I meet up with my friends again and we all head to the Great Hall to watch everyone put their names in. As we take our seats around the Goblet of fire, we see a bunch of the boys from Durmstrang come in and put their names in, and also a large group of the girls from Beauxbatons put their names in.

I then see some students from Hogwarts enter their names in, earning cheers from us. I see Cedric come in the room, soaking wet, with the piece of parchment in his hand that says, Cedric Diggory.

His friends are chanting for him to put his name in and he does. Everyone starts clapping and cheering for him. After the parchment burns in the fire, he heads over to us.

"Hey, guys," He greeted and sat next to me.

"Hey," We all say in unison.

"Are you nervous?" Mattheo asked him.

"A bit, I'm also excited," Cedric smiled. His robe started dripping water onto me and I scooted over a bit, trying to be discrete about it so I wouldn't hurt his feelings, he noticed though, "Oh, do you not want to be all wet again? I'm sorry," He wasn't actually sorry though, I could tell by the way he said the words.

He moved closer to me and gave me a big hug, the water from his robes soaking into the hoodie I stole, getting me all wet again.

"Seriously? I just changed," I scolded, after I finally pushed him off, and hit his arm.

"Oh really? It was an accident, I'm sorry," He acted innocent, widening his eyes.

"Aww, I forgive you since you're so sincere about it." I joked.
