Draco's POV
When Max and I got back to the Malfoy Manor we got all our stuff put away and them my mum wanted to know all about this year. We told her everything with the tournament, the Yule ball (she thought that Astoria and I were still together...) and just all the details about this year.
Max told her that her and Matt got together and she was very happy for them. But I just never found the right time to tell her about Y/n and I. I didn't want to bring it up at dinner because the topic just didn't match, and I really want to tell my parents but I just don't know how I would do it. Max and my mum were just catching up and I guess it was easier for her to tell her about her relationship because they're both girls. But how am I supposed to tell her?
Y/n texted me and told me that her father saw us kissing on the platform and now he knows that we're together. I need to tell my mum tomorrow. I texted Y/n all night, she told me that her father wanted to spend "quality time" with her and Matt and that she wont be able to come over for a few days, we planned for her to come over on my birthday though.
My mum planned for all of us (her, my father, Max, Y/n, Mattheo, and their father) to go out for a nice dinner together. I was relived that she didn't plan anything huge.

Today was honestly pretty nice; not having to worry about homework or getting up early or getting to classes on time, it's nice to be free. All day I've been thinking of how to tell my mum about Y/n and I. I think I'm just gonna tell her, I obviously have to wait for the right time though. Dinner just ended and now my mum is putting everything away in the kitchen.
I went in there and hopped up onto the island, I'm nervous for some reason.
"Hey, mum, c-could I talk you?" I said after a bit,
"Yes, of course, let's sit," she said, we went and sat at the stools by the counter and she got some cups of tea going. "What is it?" I took a deep breath,
"So, you know Y/n? I mean- obviously you know her, Uhm...well, we're actually...we're together now. She's my girlfriend." I said, as I spoke my mother began to smile,
"That's great, Draco. I'm so happy for you," she said and hugged me, "I've known you've liked her since you were like 12, it was really obvious," I felt my face go red,
"Yeah, I'm so surprised she never knew how I felt, she told me that she always thought that I only wanted to be friends, and I thought the same thing about her, but now we're together and it still feels like I'm dreaming."
"I remember when I was your age," My mum said "How long have you guys been together for?"
"We got together the night of the leaving feast,"
"What happened?"
"She was upset because she missed Cedric, they were really good friends, I followed her outside and I just accidentally let it slip that I love her. She told me she felt the same way and...we kissed."
"I'm so glad you finally told her how you feel, I always knew you would someday. I'm so happy for you guys,"
"Thanks mum,"

These few days this summer have seemed to drag by because Y/n and I wont be able to see each other until the fifth. But now tomorrow is my birthday and I'll finally be able to see her again. After my mum and I talked I went up to my room and took a shower, got into pajamas, and texted Y/n.
Draco🍏: I can't wait to see you tomorrow, I miss you
Y/n💚: I miss you too, it feels like it's been a long time since I've seen you
