I made a poster for my little brothers baseball team, it's so cute lol, they came up with their team name😂

Draco's POV

Ambulance sirens fill my ears as red and blue lights flash in the dark of the night. Rain pours down the windows and the knuckles of my right-hand throb in pain from the punch I threw at the EMT who pushed me away from being able to stay with Y/n in the back of the red truck.

Oliver drives too fast to be legally behind the truck where Y/n lies getting attended to by other EMTs.

My biggest fear came true and it all feels too unreal and terrifying to be happening.

"How long was she up there for before you went to check on her?" I ask Kayden,

"...A few hours," he croaks and sniffs.

"Damn it..." A few hours is more than enough time to lose all the blood inside you, but it looked like Y/n had tried to save herself and bandage up the cuts, preventing more blood flow, so hopefully she did the right thing and that could be what keeps her alive.

"Why in the hell would she do this?" Oliver asks no one in a low croak of a whisper, hardly audible over the sirens and pounding rain.

"She's been teasing it for years now..." I mumble, realizing.

"It's my fault." Kayden speaks, "I'm the reason she did this,"

"That isn't true, Kayden," I tell him, "You know it's not."

"Something like this wouldn't have happened because of a silly argument. This was...build up." Oliver tells his son.

We're silent for the rest of the ride, and when the black car halts to a stop in the hospital valet parking lot, we all jump out, not bothering to lock or even close the doors, and run, footsteps echoing through the layers of concrete above us, with all our speed into the hospital.

"Y/n Walker." Oliver tells the man at the front desk, "Where is she? What room?" the man stands up and says,

"Come with me." we all follow him at a jog through the halls of the muggle hospital, it all smells of disinfectant and straight alcohol. "I'm afraid you will not be able to enter the room Miss Walker has been put in seeing as she is no longer a child, you must wait outside the room for a doctor to exit with whatever news they may bare. Here we are."

"Thank you,"

There are chairs outside the room but none of the three of us sit, I try to get a look inside the room, but a doctor draws the blinds and the image of Y/n's lifeless body is forever burnt into my brain.

"How long will this take?" I ask,

"Nobody knows. T-try to relax though," Oliver tells us, I could tell that the facade he's put up won't last much longer.

I pace back and forth in the hall, twisting my hands and holding my eyes shut to prevent myself from breaking into tears again.

"Who wants to tell me how long Y/n has felt this way?" Oliver asks Kayden and me.

"She's been in and out of depression since she was thirteen years old. She's been self-harming since she was fourteen. And...and she was clean for almost ten months before...before now." I answer him, my voice shaking.

"I...I never knew..." Oliver plants himself in a chair and puts his head in his hand. "How could I not know my own daughter, my baby girl, was in so much pain? How could I not have seen it?"

"She hides it well...or she did." I helplessly whisper the last bit. I run my hands through my hair and dryly sob, also sitting in a chair, unable to be strong enough to stand anymore.
