Warning: Mentions of hard drugs

Y/n's POV

"Uhm...Y/n?" Kayden walks to Ginny's room and stands at the threshold, Ginny and I both look up from the books we were reading and I gasp in shock. Kayden's hair is bright pink.

"What the hell happened?" I ask, goggling at him. Fred and George come behind him, snickering, and I get it soon enough. "Oh...did something go right or wrong?"

"Well, the candy was supposed to turn his hair blue, but it went pink instead." George laughs, Ginny laughs too,

"Will it come out?" Kayden asks them both.

"Well..." Fred tuts

"Not really," George finishes.

"What?!" He exclaims, Ginny laughs

"They're kidding, the counter curse is easy," She says, pulling out her wand. "Tergeo," Slowly, Kayden's hair goes back to the usual shade of h/c it was before.

"Thank you," Kayden sighs.

"Of course," Ginny smiles and her cheeks dust pink a little before she turns away, hiding her face as she puts her wand back.

Oh shit, does Ginny like Kayden...

It's been about a week since we arrived here, and Molly Weasley has gone out of her way to make us feel comfortably at home. With Fred and George usually gone during the day at their shop, and their father working, it's usually only Ginny, Kayden, Mrs. Weasley, and I in the house.

It's never noisy, which I like, Kayden and I still aren't talking as often as we used to. Mattheo's death is affecting us worse than it has before. Neither of us have read the letters he sent us, we're gonna read them on our birthday, which is in a few days.

I keep thinking about Mattheo's and mines memories, it hurts looking back on the past, even though the memories are happy, it's the fact that we're never making more that stings and leaves a scar that never bled.

But he wont have died in vain, I'm joining the Order and I'm gonna avenge his death. I talked to Kayden, and he also wants to join. There are meetings for the Order a couple times a week, while these go down, Kayden and I are alone in the Burrow, because we have not yet joined, but they said that we'll be able to soon, very soon.

I owled Draco, telling him about what I want to do, this was several days ago, and he still hasn't written me back. I think maybe the owl got lost, or intercepted, or maybe Draco's preoccupied or busy.

We can't really leave the house, because Voldemort has his death eaters looking for us, all of us who have escaped, and if we leave the Weasleys property, we're no longer hidden, which is unsafe. But being unable to leave the Burrow doesn't feel trapped, like it did in the Malfoy Manor, it feels...like we're stuck here for our safety, not for other reasons.

And it's not like I'd want to leave, the house is very comfortable and feels like a home should, Kayden thinks so too.

The other day Kayden and I were with Fred and George, we played a game we made up where we see which set of twins knows each other better, we had Ginny ask us each questions, starting with easy ones like favorite things and biggest fears, and going toward harder ones that we're nearly impossible, like what's the most drunk your twin has been -Kayden and I both get drunk more often than is healthy so that one was hard to answer for both of us-, or what their favorite Vodka brand is. The Weasley's won, but no one blamed us because Kayden and I haven't known each other all our lives like they have, but we still came close to winning.

We're playing more rounds now, Fred's passing around a bong he made and we're all getting stoned and I feel unusually happy, Ginny asked me what Kayden's go-to hard drug is his favorite.
