Y/n's POV
So we've decided that Max will owl her mother and tell her about Mattheo, and Theodore is gonna try to get a girlfriend. He said that he might just get a fake girlfriend and act like they're super in love so that the marriage gets called off, eventually, as everyone does, he'll fall in real love with someone and the arrangement would have never been necessary.
Max and Kayden are gonna try to poison Dumbledore to kill him, I told them about the liquid death potion and that it might take a while to get the ingredients to make it, but Max has a bottle of poison that her mother gave her this summer just in case, they're gonna put it in a bottle of alcohol or something and anonymously gift it to Dumbledore, he drinks it and dies, an nobody will know it was them.
Pansy said she's gonna use a strategy where she seduces Ron and once he's distracted she'll kill him. He gets distracted pretty easily so it will work, although, it feels really terrible knowing that we have to kill Ron, I mean Hermione sure, but Ron was a good friend.
Right now Draco, Pansy, Kayden and I are walking to Care of Magical Creatures. I love this class, but Draco hates it. He's only taking it still because I do.
We made it to Hagrid's hut an soon enough he joined us and lead us to a grassy field near the forest.
"Hello class, today we'll be learning about a very interesting little creature: The Niffler." Hagrid started, I allowed a small smile to form on my face, I've honestly always wanted a pet niffler, they're so cute.
Hagrid pulled a few gold coins out of a pocket and out of the forest, several (probably like 10 to 15) nifflers came running. My jaw literally dropped. There was so many, I've never even seen one in person.
"Oh my god," I gasped.
"These little guys are very attracted to shiny things, they've been used for years for treasure hunting, they're useful but also very reckless, they'll wreak havoc while getting to treasure." Hagrid spoke to the class.
I watched as the fluffy little creatures rolled around and played with each other in the grass, even Draco smiled a bit at the cuteness of them.
"Everybody come and pick a niffler now, I've hidden leprechaun gold all across this field, whosever niffler finds the most gold will win 15 extra credit points," I smiled and was one of the first to walk up the the group of the black furred animals.
I picked one up, he had some weight to him but he was so fluffy. He grabbed at my ringed hand with his little paws and started to try to pull one off.
"Watch out for their claws, they could scratch you if you aren't careful," Hagrid instructed. My Niffler began to play with my heart locket that Draco gave me for Christmas.
"No, buddy, that's the one you can't have." I laughed, surprisingly, he listened.
"Ah, he likes you, Y/n, that one's name is Bandit," Hagrid said, just then, the niffler snatched one of my bracelets off and tucked it into a little pouch in his belly. "I think you can tell why." I laughed.
Draco was reluctant to pick up his niffler, that one I believed was named Snuffles.
"She's not gonna hurt you," I said from behind him, he was gingerly approaching it.
