Y/n's POV
I sighed as I closed my trunk filled with all my clothes and other possessions. I looked around at my dorm for the last time this year, taking it all in. In only several hours I'll be back at Rookwood manor, with my father who wants to be on better terms now. I'm unsure about going back home, I don't want to, but it will only be for a few months so what's the worst that could happen?
I grab my wand, phone, carry on bag and my owl and leave my dorm, meeting with Max at the stop of the stairs.
"Hey, you ready?" She asked me,
"Yeah, I guess," I said. We enchanted our trunks an they floated next to us while we walked down the stairs and out of the common room. Earlier at breakfast I ate for the first time in a while, and I honestly feel a little bit better. We go through the entrance hall and outside, we get our trunks in a luggage carriage and meet up with Matt and Draco.
"Hey guys, are you ready?" Draco asks us,
"Yeah," we say, Draco kisses me and grabs my hand, we all get into a carriage with Harry, Ron and Hermione. Hermione sees me and Draco holding hands, she nudges me,
"Are you guys together?" She asked,
"Yeah, since last night," I said,
"Oh my god! I knew it! Harry, pay up," Hermione said and Harry reluctantly pulled 2 galleons out of his pocket and handed them to her,
"You guys made a bet?" Draco asked them,
"Yup, in like Winter," Harry said, we all laughed,
"I can't believe this year is already over, it seems like yesterday that we arrived here," Max said,
"I know, it seems crazy," I said, we all talked until we got to Hogsmeade station where we all boarded the train. We said goodbye to Harry, Ron and Hermione; we wont be able to at Platform 9 3/4 because we aren't allowed to hang out with "blood traitors" and Muggle borns, especially these three.
The four of us found an empty compartment, I sat next to Draco and Matt and Max sat next to each other. I looked out the window, the castle still in view, it will be another 3 months until I get to see it again. But at least in these three months I'll be comforted by the fact that Draco and I are finally together.
I stare at the castle, replaying all the best things that happened this year, everything that happened this year really. I got so lost in thought, you know that feeling when you finish a book series and you know that it will never be the same reading it again? I'm getting that right now, but ten times worse.
"Are you okay?" Draco asked me, pulling me out of my train of thought.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just thinking, now that the Dark Lord has rose to power again...I don't think anything's gonna really be the same again, you know?" I said,
"Yeah, I know. But a lot of things have changed this year," Draco said, he grabbed my hand, "Some changes for the better." He's talking about us, our friendship has changed into a relationship.
"Definitely for the better," I said quietly looking into his eyes and holding his hand, he kissed me. When we pulled apart I saw Matt genuinely smiling at us, but he looked away quickly. Draco put an arm around me and I leaned my head on his shoulder, still holding his hand.
"You'll come over this summer right?" He asked,
"Of course, whenever I can I will. But my father wants to be on "better terms" from now on so he might start caring whether I'm home or not. But I'll come over as soon as I can, I promise." I said, he smiled,
