Third Person POV, Y/n

Y/n walks horror-struck through the demolished Great Hall which she called home for seven long years of her life. Students, witches, wizards, and professors all gather in there as the sun rises into a mournful dawn.

Dead bodies lay on the stone flooring, some covered in tarps, some being cried over by loved ones. A numb feeling overtakes the young girl as she spots her favorite Weasley perished on the floor beneath her. She inhales slowly but feels nothing but a chilled gust of wind passing by her.

She finds it in her to continue walking. Lavender Brown lays before Parvati Patil and Professor Trelawney. Y/n spots a familiar head of purple hair...and beside her, the man Y/n saw as a father for so long. Remus Lupin.

And at this moment, Y/n's emotions and senses came back to her body, hitting her hard, like a train, has collided into her at full speed.

"No..." she musters the ability to speak, on the verge of breaking like a glass window hit by a rock. "No...please no..." warm tears develop in her eyes and spill instantly as her knees give in and she lets out a very audible sob.

Despite Y/n senses finally coming back, her sense of hearing exits apart from slight mumbles and muffled footsteps. In her head, she hears nothing but Remus Lupins voice, telling her softly that everything will be alright, only this was a memory of her third year.

A fourteen year old Y/n sobs into her own arms in Professor Lupin's office, her cup of tea abandoned beside her. Lupin takes her in his arms like a father would, and he comforts her. Y/n always thought of him as a father figure, but she never knew he saw her as a daughter, a daughter he took an oath to protect and care for when no one else would.

And the pain going on inside the now eighteen year old, this excruciating and indescribable agony, is that of losing a father.

She feels a pair of arms around her like in her memory, only, for once, she wishes they weren't Draco's arms. She needs Remus. But, as of tonight, he is unreachable.

Her hearing comes back and she gasps, her entire face of front soaked in tears, they keep running down her face, an impossible amount of tears.

"Darling, I'm so sorry." Draco mumbles into her shoulder. "He died a hero, he and Tonks both did."

"When will I stop losing the ones I love?" she sobs, the pain and agony more noticeable than ever in her voice.

"..I don't know." Is all Draco can say.

"This ends tonight." Y/n gently shrugs out of Draco's arms, "And I know how it will."

Draco nods, and begins filling her in on what she missed.

"Now, what happened in Florida, why did you come back?"

"I cannot explain it twice, come with me." Y/n walks to a table that has not yet been destroyed, the Hall is already rather silent, so when she clears her throat, everyone looks her way.

"Er, hello," she sniffs, "Tonight has been...evil. And I will not watch another good soul lose their life. And I know what must be done in order to defeat Voldemort." the crowd before her murmurs. "My twin brother, Kayden, and I both make up a whole of one of Voldemort's seven Horcruxes. Six of which have been destroyed already. In order to kill the Horcrux inside of us...someone must try to kill us using the killing curse. But not only that, they must mean it, for us to be killed. And I don't believe any one in this Hall would...unless of course, anyone wants me or my twin dead?" the hall stays silent. "No one? I've done a lot of terrible things in the past, I Crucio'd Ronald Weasley, I slit Dalilah Allens throat, I crippled Ginny Weasley-"
